KOTS2000 (King of the Server) is RPG type mod and very fun. The US player data base is small-medium compaired to the Chilian players. There are many different Player Masters you can be while trying your hardest to become the King! From all the types of Weapons in Regular Deathmatch, the BFG, HyperBlaster, and Blaster were modified. The BFG is now a strong laser that is difficult to aim. The HyperBlaster now shoots a bit slower but still deals a fine amount of damage per blast. The Blaster was made into a Sabre in which is a close range weapon that deals the most amount of damage in the shortest amount of time. The rest of the Weapons do the same amount of damage as the original Quake 2 Deathmatches. These weapons are even better once you upgrade them to a higher level! Please Visit the Websites to see how much different the weapons are!

If you are new to KOTS2000, you might want to know a few "rules" that players have decided on. There are two game types, Player vs. Monsters (PVM) and Player vs. Player (PVP) I consider the "life for an life" policy in K2K (KOTS2000) If someone shoots me and doesn't kill me, I'm fine with that. Someone shoots me a few times and kills me, that pisses one off. I take revenge on the person who killed me, ONLY if they don't say sorry or soz or sumtin like that. If they say, "STFU" I start PVP :) It is kind to tball someone out of the lava, regardless of them on a 24 Frag Spree.

Many people debate on what the best Player Tree would be. Here is a list to go by.

Strength is for large ammo consumers: CG, BFG, or MG. People who want to render their enemy helpless by no weapon: RL, GL, or RG. Alot of people chose for the nearly Infinite Ammo: HB, SSG, or GL. The STR is very useful for a CG'er for the 1000 cubes that are able to be used with the convert ability of the CG. It takes 5 cubes to make 25 bullets, giving them 5000 bullets to play around with. BFG could be useful with STR with the large amount of cells he can hold at once, but would generally suck for quick spawning games. The same thing for MG, it uses alot of ammo but not as much as the CG. Those of you want weapon knock, You should use a quick damaging weapon... RG, RL, or GL. The RL does alot of damage but takes pretty little skill to aim it. The RG takes much more skill or just a really low ping ;) The GL is just plain SPAM. If you are looking for nearly infinite ammo, use the GL, HB, or SSG. The GL is great with this because of the weapon knock, the ammo regen, and the chance of hitting someone with you 50 grenades. The HB is great because you nearly regen all the ammo before you use all of it and does energy damage, so it removes more health than normal damage. The SSG does alot of damage, which allow weapon knock, helpful agianst empathy shield (learn more about that later), and takes almost NO SKILL AT ALL since it has such a large bullet spread. Does well with Dexterity(Pick up ammo faster). Its counterpart is Dexterity(93% Chance to not knock weapon rather than the 100% chance to knock).

Dexterity is great for people who HATE weapon knock, use weapons with scarce ammo, want to not be heard with grapple, people who don't want to get hurt by expacks as much, or people who like stealing other people's ammo. There is no real category for weapons but the most recommended weapons are: RL, GL, CG, MG, and BFG. RL and GL have only 5 ammo from a normal ammo pack, the CG can convert any ammo he picks up 2x and steals ammo from the opponent like crazy, the MG can be used to have alot of ammo over a period of time (I had one and almost never ran out of bullets) and steal ammo from the opponent alot. The BFG is great because it uses 21 ammo per full beam. Does well with Strength(Lots of Ammo). Its counterpart is Karma(Protectant against Ammo Steal) and Spirit(Only steal 1/3 ammo of what your suppose to.)

Karma is great for people who like to run around and health keep rising without using cubes to do it, plant a mine field than can catch a person off guard, or just completely HATE Ammo Steal. This is a tree that has nothing to do with what weapon you choose. Does well with Wisdom(Health Resistances). Its counterpart is NONE.

Wisdom
is great for people who don't like being seen, easy accessibility to almost any area, their health is tough as beans, and like to sit around and regenerate their cubes. The best weapons would be any quick/high damage weapons for using the cloaking ability wisely. Does well with Technical(Helps protect Health against heavy attackers) and Karma(Health Regen). Its counterpart is Karma(Level 7 Karma sight see's Level 7 cloakers.)

Technical is great for TANKS (AKA Unkillables). There is no need to explain what this is, except that energy weapons eat through your armor like it was nothing. You need as much Anti-Weapon as you can get. REMEBER PICK UP AS MUCH ARMOR! Does well with Wisdom(Health Resistances), Karma(Health Regen), Spirit(Armor Regen), and Anti-Weapon(Increases max armor regen). Its Counterpart is Energy Weapons(Penetrate Armor Easily).

Spirit is great for people who dislike quad whores, lots of cubes, swim fast, don't like ammo steal very much, hate running and getting the ammo packs the opponents drop, armor that regens quickly, lots of respawn ammo, dislike Railgun, and the flashlight to see cloakers. Many people like the CG because it starts off with 50 cells(16 cubes per spawn with kotspower) and they have 200 bullets when they spawn out, and are able to steal their health back from attackers. People may use RG so the opponents ammo pack is quickly pulled to them. Some people use BFG or HB so they get extra cells to convert when they spawn. Some people might use RL so they can get the packs from whoevery their kill with the large amount of damage they deal. SSG would be good because when an attacker comes, they are normally dead before they can inflict enough damage to kill the spirit user. Does well with Technical(Armor regen and this makes you a TANK), Wisdom(Health resistance and Vampire), Karma(Cubes from the packs others drop), and Strength(Lots of cubes to carry around)

I Still need to fix the links to the underlined things, please be patient. :)
