The Third Option:
Marriage, Divorce, Affair?

This website is a book research project examining the extramarital affair. It's focus is to provide women with objective information they need before they commit to an affair. The project may seem pro-affair. This is not the case. The target audience for this book are women who contemplate an affair. That requires a very special approach. This project uses the experiences, insight and opinions of all women, not just those who have had or are having an affair. The goal of this very difficult project is to try to make sense out of a devastating, confusing issue.

Tough Choices.

Vows. Suppose at age eighteen you took a vow not to kill. "I will never, never take a human life, so help me God," you swore on the Bible. Twenty-six years later, you are driving a lonely country road and you come upon a man trying to rape a woman. Because of the circumstances, the only way to stop the man is to hit and kill him with your car. Has the situation changed your vow? Are vows dependent on matters of degree? Are some sacred vows worth more than others and should be kept while others not? Where is the line drawn between self-sacrifice and self-interest? Who decides for you?

*********************

Do you base your opinions on your past experience or what "seems" reasonable. For instance, if you were hurt because of an affair your spouse had would you view all affairs as bad irregardless of contrary evidence?
When you hear of a man who is having an affair what is your first thought? Is that thought different if it is a woman who is having the affair? Does the question WHY (happenings behind the scenes shielded from view) ever enter into your judgement or is your judgement based solely on the word "affair"?
