Being in the field with no medical support, except those teams with a Corpsman, operators need some advanced medical skills, to buy some time until the team can be extracted. |

| Another means of inserting a Recon team into the field is by Airborne Drops. Here Teams work on stick integrity, otherwise staying close enough to each other to join each other once reaching the ground and then continue on with their patrol. |

| Being in helicopters over water, we must be prepared in the event of an accident.. "Helo-dunker" training is a controlled environment in which a fuselage is dropped into a pool and then turned upside down to simulate what might happen in a real crash. Then the men must free themselves from their seatbelts and clear the wreckage. The last turn is done blindfolded. Whew!!! |
