No, we are not Satanists. In fact, we don't even believe in Satan. He's just a figment of your imagination. Sorry.
Oh, and by the way? The stuff you saw on Buffy and Charmed? It wasn't real. And yes, we know this.
To all you Pagans out there, whether you follow Wicca, Druidry, Asatru, Stregheria, or some other even tinier sect, be welcome! Join me on my quest, and we'll terrorize the Fundies just by existing: "Mwahahaha! We'll wear pentacles in public and worship your trees! Fear the wrath of the mighty teensy-weensy minority religious group as it dares to worship multiple Gods and Goddesses! Yes, fear us, O Bigoted Fundies! Quake in terror at our reverence for nature and our love for all creatures! The threat to Christianity is growing infinitesimally! We are a force to be reckoned with!"
In all honesty, nobody has anything to fear from Pagans. We're a group full of people who converted themselves to a new religion, who actively sought out a difficult path and are sticking to it despite (or perhaps because of) the disapproval of much of the rest of society. We are not sheep who follow a single shepherd, or students of a single teacher. We teach ourselves, and we choose our own guides. We recognize that there are so many paths and so many guides to those paths that no one could possibly ever figure out which one is the best one, no matter how trustworthy their Bible or how wise their guru. So we don't try to dictate what religion anybody should follow, and we hope you can do the same for us.
We have all taken the road less traveled by, and it really has made all the difference.
