It's time. It's now or never. As I sit here writing this, my hand is trembling. Why does this have to be so hard for me. . . Why.

I make hard decisions every day, yet they pale in comparison to what I'm feeling right now.

When I was given my mission, to track down the renegade Maquis, I was a Starfleet Captain, doing her job; an impartial witness to your life; our life.

Even after we joined together, I refused to let you in, but you fought me all the way, and broke your way into my heart. I thank the Gods everyday, that you did not give up, for I have come to realize that you are a part of me, in my mind and in my soul. You are my life.

This is my Heart's song, and it is making me cry, but I know now that you will be there to wipe away my tears.
