My dearest Kathryn,

Oh how long I have waited to hear those words; those words of trust. I will always be there to wipe away your tears; and you know that now.

For so long, I have imagined what it would be like just to hold you in my arms, just to kiss your lips. I have dreamt of waking up beside you in our bed, and seeing your smiling face beside me.

You are my one and only Kathryn; you are what has been keeping me going these past few years, and I would do anything to keep you safe.

Now I know I no longer have to keep you at arm's reach. I can keep you safe, here in my heart.
