Guess Who!

Hi, Robert here. Finally an updated picture of me, taken by my son Phillip on my digital camera, and even looks like me - in fact my Driver's License picture does too but it won't be included here!
Too bad the radio station on my shirt no longer exists. :(

MORE PIX COMING SOON!

Born on October 17, 1954, I am 52 as of this writing. I'm an even six feet tall, with blonde hair (what's left of it, that is! LOL) which is starting to gray and hazel eyes. I have lived here in Jacksonville all of my life. As you may know, I'm into pinball restoration and playing them and the like, but I also have other interests.

Besides doing the pinball machines, I was a driver for Corporate Express Delivery Systems for nearly eight years, then drove for Delivery Specialists, Inc. (DSI) for the next two years. On April 16, 2003, I started a new job as a route driver for Derst Baking Company.
Early in 2006, Derst sold out to Flowers Foods. In August of that year, they took over the production and delivery of Derst products in Jacksonville. I took a settlement they gave me and "semi-retired" for the remainder of 2006 but I will more than likely have to go back to work after the holidays.

Some of my interests are: restoring pinball machines (although I haven't had a whole lot of time to devote to that lately), using my computer (Dude, I've got a Dell!) for going online and playing card games and some computer games, shopping on eBay, music (another thing I am very much into), and of course keeping in touch with all of you wonderful people.

I just started learning Yiddish this year but haven't had too much time to study it so I don't speak it all that fluently...except for the swear words! :)

I drive a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck, which I got in March, 2005. It replaced the 1995 Chevrolet S-10 pickup which was basically junque. It is silver in color, with A/C, CD player and 5-speed.

"Ranger Hal"

As an "old car buff" I am also the owner of a 1969 Rambler (American Motors) which I am eventually going to restore to like new condition. It does run and drive well, and I love driving it because it has something you rarely see these days: "three on the tree!" (Translation: three speed standard transmission with a column-mounted shifter.)

My "ole girl"

And as many of you know I have a son named Phillip. He is 21 ("legal age"), and has his driver's license. he has a girlfriend now - her name is Nicole (aka Nikki). He is into his Play Station 3 and his Nintendo Wii, Blink 182, Avenged Sevenfold, AFI, skateboarding, and is an AVID guitar player! He also likes spending time online. You can e-mail him at LpsLostAgain.

An updated picture of him with our cousin Gwen who was 4 when the picture was taken!
