I bought Thistle 2291 in October 2000. I was looking for an inexpensive yet exciting boat. I spent the next 10 months tinkering. As I had never seen another Thistle in person, rigging the boat was somewhat of a chore. I got lots of help from people on the internet, and wanted to create a webpage that had pictures of what I did for other people to use. I admit that most of what I have was readily stolen from NWOD (who I recommend as they are extremely helpful, but also extremely slow), but I had to start somewhere. |
