This was my dream car, since in high school my best friend's mom had one and would drive us around in it, and I fell in love with one I saw for sale by a local architect, cost me $4500 back in 99. Ive installed a new SOny CD player, new speakers, euro plates, new water pump, etc.
189k miles when sold to an elderly retired lady in Clintwood, VA.
I'd have to say I loved this car as much as my Volvo, but.. repairs were getting costly and It's ridiculous to have 3 cars in the driveway.
Unfortunately I had to sell my tired BMW to make room for my new VW. Bought with 14k miles. I've never owend a diesel,and was skeptical about purchasing one. I never even notice the noise (which is not that bad, anyway) Im really starting to admire the diesel engine putter and the 450 miles to a tank.
The handling and overall ride is excellent, and very comfrotable on long trips. He's super flashy, and I always have people cutting me off or being more aggressive to me when I'm driving compared to when I'm driving the Volvo.
