I graduated from St. Joseph's University (yes, also in Philadelphia) last year where I co-majored in History and English.
I am currently seeking my PhD in Folklore and Folklife at U of P, as I have simultaneously started writing my first book. I would love to be a successful historical author, like Graham Hancock, or even a novelist based on factual history like Dan Brown.
The first book I am working on is a historical account of the contributions of Irish immigrants to the founding, growth, and development of the United States. I got the idea while doing genealogical research of my own family history, which includes some famous and fascinating important historical figures, including a signer of the Constitution (Thomas Fitzsimmons), a muckraking journalist (Bryon Fitzsimmons), and a Civil War general (George G. Meade).
