Thorn athletic were named 'Team of
the year' today at the final league meeting of this
season. We won with 10 votes against 6, which truly
wraps up an unbelievable season for the Johnstone
lads.
The thorn boys have now added the West
of Scotland Cup to the Glasgow cup and League
chamiponship. It was a hard fought game with rivals
St.Peters but determination and team spirit came
through in the end with a 4-3 victory.
The night went down a blast with about
150 players and supporters in attendance. The winners
of the individual trophies is as follows:
Player of the year - Tommy Graham
Players' player of the year - Craig
McGloan
