Thorrington Scout Camp - England

A Scout Camp site dedicated to providing young people of Scouting and other recognised organisations  a true camping experience

27 Acres of English woodland, dotted with 12 secluded camp sites. Sizes of sites  vary from those able to hold only a few hike tents to sites capable of taking  a dozen patrol tents. We also have 2 buildings available at present The Hayvern (38 people) & Alpha House (48 people). Both capable of taking disabled residents.

Situated just 7 miles outside Colchester Essex (Englands oldest recorded Town), just 60 miles north east of London. This location gives quick access to local communications in the form of Road (A12), Rail (via Liverpool St.) and Boat (Harwich). Also we are well situated to explore the South East of the UK - London, Constable Country, Historic Colchester, the Coastal resort of Clacton
