16:26 (according to Healthquest...AGAIN) -
Merry Christmas and to my jewish friends, Happy Hanukah!!!
Well people, it's been yet another week, and we are all one week older. A lot has gone on, but for the most part CHRISTMAS!!! Christmas is my favorite holiday, not because you get a bunch of stuff for free from friends...it's because I love the smiles you get from all the people you get gifts for. I love this holiday solely for the smiles everybody exchanges.
Since last Wednesday, I haven't been doing much...on wednesday, I finished up with work and then did something else that night that I don't recall at this time. Oh well.
Thursday, I was off so I took care of ALL my Christmas shit like wrapping and finishing up drawing the cards and stuff. That night, I went to midnight rodeo to meet up with a couple groups of friends. The GAP crew was there, and one of the Langham groups were there. I saw Katey Bornhurst, Larissa Cleveland, Kristin Smith, some asian girl that I couldn't remember her name, Jorge Valladares, and people that were with them. I met Mike and Steven Daspit up there also. Karla, Kimmy, Beth, Tiffany, Jodi, Juan, Steven, Travis, and Alan were there from the GAP crew. After we closed out the bar and after 24 dollars, Katey, Larissa, Kristin, asian girl, Mike, Steven, Jorge and his friend all went to this guys apartment where we didn't stay long. We then went to Denny's to eat some good ole' breakfast. Since I was drunk, I was will to do or DRINK anything...like a glass of water with a slice of cheese mixed with mayo, ketchup, maple syrup, pepper, salt, and whatever the fuck was in there. Three gulps people...THREE GULPS!!! Just thinking about it makes me gag. Oh well...alcohol impairs the brain in some ways.
On Friday, I had to wake up at 08:00 to be at work at 09:00. Keep in mind, I got in at about 05:30. 2.5 hours of sleep isn't exactely healthy for me. Well, I got out at 15:00 and then went to the Salinas house to hang out a bit. When they left for church, I went home to eat with my family. A GOOD steak dinner we had for our Christmas meal. Grant and I exchanged gifts before anybody else, because we wanted something to do until dinner was actually ready. I got him the movie LIFE, and I got him...the movie LIFE. Nice planning THAT one Kris...man you're gay. We started to watch it, and then before we knew it, it was time to eat. YUM YUM YUM!!! While we were finishing our desert, guess who rang the doorbell...worse than an assassin...worse than a bounty hunter...even worse than satan himself...nah that's a little too much...anyway, my Tita Bette. AHHHHHHHHH!!! My sister and I look at each other just KNOWING what we're thinking which is, "oh god, why did she have to come?" So, my siter, Grant, and myself go into the living room to ATTEMPT to finish the movie. It was inevitable that that wasn't going to happen. Five minutes after we go into the living room, she comes in. Now, I'm looking extremely comfortable on the side of the couch with some cushions next to me for another armrest. Too bad she moves the cushions and plops down RIGHT next to me. ARGH!!! There's the ENTIRE right side of the couch open, because I was the only one sitting on it, and she sits a little TOO close for comfort. Hell...her being in the house is too close for comfort. So she sits down and starts messing with my hair..."Jon, I like your hair. Where did you get it done? Oh, you did it yourself? It looks good. I want my hair like that."
Right now, I'm thinking "you would look like an IDIOT with your hair like this!!! You don't want it like this...you just want me to think you're cool by trying to imitate what I do! GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!!!" The entire time she's there, she's playing with my hair...GOD!!! STOP IT!!! LEAVE THE COUNTRY!!! She wasn't gonna stop, so I pretend I have to go get something in my room. I stay there for about 20 minutes until it was time to open our gifts. I sit down at the piano bench...in the MIDDLE of it. Now, since ALL the seats are empty, you would assume that she would choose one of those but NOOOOOOOO...she scoots me over on the bench and sits next to me AGAIN!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE LORD STRIKE ME DOWN NOW!!! While we're opening the gifts, Bette rests her right hand on my back and starts tapping as well as messing with the back of my neck. TAP-TAP-TAP TAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Stop with this infernal tapping!!! Now, I don't wanna say anything because she's seeing a psychiatrist, and I don't want her to fall of the handle...especially towards me!!! The WHOLE TIME we're opening their gifts. TAP TAP TAP!!! I was about to shoot her in teh head with whatever I had in my hands. It was driving my CRAZY. Eventually, they all left THANKFULLY and we continued to open the rest of our presents from each other. Oh...I got a calculator and matching keychain from Bette...something I will SURELY never use. The night went well, I got a thermas, Volume Four of Futurama, binoculars, and of course, DIGITAL CAMCORDER!!! I stayed up late trying to figure it out and play with it. I went to bed late that night after watching one of the disks of Futurama. I have the WHOLE COLLECTION NOW!!! Oh...I didn't tell you why we opened the gifts on Christmas Eve...it was because my mom had to leave for the Phillipines on Christmas day. Plus, I had to work from 9-3 on X-Mas day also.
Well, Christmas was here, and yet again, I had to wake up early as hell, to go to work. I woke up a little late, but I arrived to work on time. How did I do it you ask? NOT SHOWERING. Ew. After work, I rushed home to say bye to my mommy and told her I would miss her. When they left, the house was mine...until my dad got back...2 hours later. Hahaha. I went to the Salinas house again to see what they all got and wish them all a Merry Christmas...as well as giving them their gift!!! Or their first PART of their gift. Eh eh eh. They also gave me their gifts for me too!!! Johnny and Andrew got me the uncut version of The Girl Next Door and Spider-Man 2. David and Jaci got me one of those plug and play controllers for the television. I was up later playing those highly addictive games. After watching a good portion of the extended Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, I went back home to finish putting the scavenger hunt stuff and wait for a call from Johnny telling me that they're all coming over. They didn't get there until about 23:45 or 00:00, and the hunt began!!! After they all found what they got, we went to David's apartment to hang a little and watch Napolean Dynamite. GREAT movie. I need to get it. After David's, we all went home and went to sleep. Before I went to sleep, I started the second Futurama disk, but unfortunantely, I was too damn tired to stay awake...for 5 minutes!!!
Before I go on, I want to thank everybody who got me a gift, and I want you all to know that I love each and every one of you to the bottome of my heart. And of course, by tradition, I'm going to post what everybody else received from me...

Sunday was the day of working ALL DAY...from 9 AM to 9 PM. OUCH! When I got off, I thought I was going to go crazy!!! I went Matt's for a little bit after work, but then soon went home because we were both VERY tired. When I got home, my dad had been drinking lemonade with some vodka in it...except it was the other way around. Vodka with some lemonade in it. He handed it to me, and told me to try it, and it tasted like straight up vodka with a HINT of lemon in it. He then turns to me and says, "You can't even taste the vodka, huh?" Of course, I humor him saying that he's right and then saying, "I'm not much of a vodka guy" so he wouldn't offer me a drink. We exchange a few words in the kitchen involving what I'm suppose to do with my next paycheck...which is pay off my debt. So I say, "ok," and then he kicks me in the butt and says, "it's almost like you knew what I wanted to hear...it's too suspicious." I just go upstairs and try to take care of some stuff I've needed to do. I all of a sudden I hear my dad calling my name and asking me if I want to go see The Polar Express 3-D IMAX with him tomorrow. I felt bad since my mom wasn't home anymore and he looked like he had been drinking all day, and he was looking at me with hopeful eyes that I would say yes. He just wanted someone to do stuff with. I haven't really had any father-son time since I turned 18. Thre are only a few things that we've done together in the past three years. In between school and work, there just isn't much time. So I say yes, and he tells me to meet him at ten the next day. A little while passes by, and my dad was warming up the enchilada my mom left us boys. We almost devoured it, and it tasted FANTASTIC!!! After eating, I went back up to my room to watch Futurama and chill in my room. I fall asleep soon after because I was tired. I wake up at about 03:00, and stayed up until about 05:00. My sleep schedule is so fucked up. Oh well.
Monday I slept in until about 13:00, and that felt GREAT!!! Before I went to work, I don't know what I did...I think I just went to work! After work, I rushed to the Edwards Marque to meet my dad at Wings 'N More to eat some dinner. I finished one HUGE ASS burger. We then watched the 3-D movie, and then went home. The 3-D effects weren't as good as in Universal Studios, but it was still kinda cool. When we got home, Mike gave me a call, and wanted to know what was up for the night. We met up with Lauren, Karla, Tiffany, and Jodi and that Hot Shots bar at about 01:30, leaving us 30 minutes to get a good buzz goin'. Mission accomplished. Jason and one of his friends met us up there only for like 20 minutes. After the bar, we all went to IHOP except for Lauren...who went home to go to sleep. Finally, after we were all done eating we all dispersed to our homes, and Mike wanted to go back to my house and watch Back to the Future 3 so, we did. I didn't go to sleep until about 06:00, but during that time, I was talking to Christina and telling her the story of Spleen-ee the Spleen (my spleen). I'll have to post it up some time...it's a rather intriguing epic about a spleen and the world. The movie finished, and Mike went home.
On Tuesday, I woke up at 14:00, and then got dressed and went to the Salinas house to chill until I had to leave for work. I felt like beating someone's ass in Mario Tennis, and it so much better that that person was Johnny. I went to work to work until 21:00, and then went to chill at my house!!! It was a night at my house, drinking some beer, playing wiht my camcorder, playin' some Nintendo, and watching a movie. The camcorder shit was prolly the most fun we had that night, making scary faces at the camera with night vision on. There are just some people who can't look scary like me or Christina. Johnny looked the freakiest out of all of us. He was just down right horrifying!!! The individuals that were there were Christina, Johnny, Matt, Andrew, and myself. We played Goldeneye, Mariokart 64, and Mario Tennis. Johnny had to get his revenge...and he GOT IT. Andrew and I didn't win ONE game!!! But it WAS pretty intense. After we played, we watched Spider-Man 2. Or should I say Christina, Matt, and myself FINISHED watching it. A bit of advise for Andrew: If you talk shit about other people not being able to stay up, then YOU need to be able to stay up too!!! Hippocrit. It's fun being an insomniac, because you can make fun of all the other people sleeping.
*Jonathan waving his left hand around like a conductor*
Well, we all ended up sleeping at the Radke Cheateau, and I eventually fell asleep at 05:30.
I woke up this morning at about 12:30 to a call coming from Karla thanking me for the bracelet. I jumped out of bed, and took a shower to start my day out. When I got dressed, it was off to the piano with me. I wanna apologize to Christina for waking you up with it. If I would have known you couldn't go back to sleep once you're up, I would have started out with Dire, Dire Docks and the LOZ tunes. Instead of keeping them for last. Well, after cleaning up a little, and making sure nothing was left out, I left for work. So, here I am right now, updating my journal and listening to music...AT WORK!!! Smell ya later!!!

Nintendo and other fun stuff
Well well well...it's been quite an eventful week! Actually, not really. The rest of last week consisted of working until nine everyday and going to either Brian's, Lauren's, or Johnny's house. Watching movies and that great stuff. We watched Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Extended Version, which took approximately 4.5 hours. Last weekend I didn't do much...did I get drunk? I don't remember. I don't THINK i did. Oh I know what I did...
On Saturday, I worked until 15:00 (3 PM) and then it was OFF T0 THE MALL with me. I first went to Best Buy to buy a gift for friends of mine, and then off to Katy Mills to buy gifts for my mom and dad, and then a trip to GameStop for another friend. I spent a total of $170 that night. YEECH!!! Oh well...all that matters is that I'm making people happy...which i'm hoping to acheive. That night I went to uh...um....SHIT..what did i do? Ah yes...hangin' out at Andy Gomez's house. What fun we have chillin' out there, drinking osm beer and sippin' on Radke originals. I got pretty drunk off a drink I made FULL of Gin.
On Sunday, I woke up to the sound of my mom blasting Christina Aguilara fromthe downstairs. NOT A GOOD WAKE UP CALL. I got up, took a shower, and went to work from 15:00-21:00 (3 PM - 9 PM). After work, I went to the annual GAP party at Los Cucos. After a good beef enchilada and a ice cold corona, we got kicked out because they were closing. We then migrated to Taco Cabana where they did Elephant gift exchange stuff. Well, we wanted to go to Jillian's first, but they were closed so we packed in Ashley's car (Lauren, Ashley, Juan, and myself) and went to TC. After doing the gift thing, Ashley brough us back to our vehicles, and i went to a place called Hot Shots Bar with a lot fo the GAP crew. I was the only NON-GAP person there. But it's ok, since they all love me. After the bar, I went home to chill out with Mike a bit before e went home at 05:30 (5 AM). Then I passed out.
Monday sucked...woke up late, and then went to work, and then went to Johnny's for a Mario night. We played Mario 64 and I got 30 stars. I then went home and fell asleep.
Tuesday was here, and BOY HOWDY! I actually woke up relatively early. I went to the Salinas house because they wanted to check out Best Buy, and plus...I wanted to visit my friend Brie! We went there, and about a half-hour after we got there, I had to leave to get ready for work. Afte work that day, I went to Brian's house to play some pool. Mike and Busch were there, and we played for a little bit until they started playing video games. Since there was no computer for me to use, I just left and went home. After I got home and into my undies, I started talking to Sprint and then she asked me why I didn't come over. Well, I told her that I wasn't invited, even though I'm NEVER invited. I don't know why I thought it was wrong to invite myself over. Oh well...not next time. I went there, and got 75 stars (TOTAL)!!! I plan to go there tonight to BEAT it!!! OH MAN...Johnny seriously has to do something about his snoring problem...it sounded like an ostrich choking on a rat!!! It was horrible!!! Andrew has his thing too...Mr. Moan he was last night. As for me and Christina, we were the insomniacs.
I slept at the Salinas house last night, and woke up because I had to move my truck. I slept fully clothed and everything. I even had my shoes on still. I moved it, and then passed out again on the couch. I left the house at about 12:30 to bring Lauren her gift!!! I got her Npolean Dynamite. Man...I made it there really fast...speeding is fun...until you DIE. Just kidding...it's ALWAYS fun! After saying bye to Luaren, I went to IKEA to buy something for some friends. MAN O MAN!!! That place is HUGE!!! I was just one lone diabetic on a quest to find a small item that cost me 5 bucks. A simple task of picking something up and buying it turned out to be an hour-long adventure full of mishaps and confusion!!! I got there, and when I first walked in, I assumed I knew where the item was...BIG MISTAKE. I went to the second floor and i was following the arrows trying to look around everywhere to see if this particular item was there. There's WAY TOO MUCH shit over there at that store. I mean, really...who needs THIS MUCH futuristic or modern crap? NOBODY!!! I walked around the entire upstairs and came tothe conclusion that I was going to ask someone. I went downstairs and there was a whole other level full of CRAP!!! Lights crap, baby crap, EVERYTHING CRAP!!! I think that I'm in the right place at one point, so I spend about 15-20 minutes in deep searching mode. Well, just my luck i was looking in the wrong ares. After walking to the end of the store where the check-out lanes are, I was frustrated, and I didn't want to leave there until I got what I came to get. So, I walk back into the first floor place and i FINALLY ask someone. This guy doesn't know...he goes to find a manager so that he can look it up in the computer. Ok...media storage is the area where my particular item is, and the next step in my journey was to find media storage. He tells me it's on the second floor, so I run up again, and look for the media storage area. Of COURSE it's not on the map. I look or it intensely with an intense look on my face. At this point, I have been walking around too much and I am now beginning to sweat. Keep in mind, I had a huge jacket on my back. I give up again, and ask someone where it is. He shows me, I go to it, and I find the item I came to get. Now, the last task to be done was get the hell out of there and pay for my item. I follow arrows that i THINK lead to the checkouts, but I guess I'm too stupid to do that. I start following them, and then all of a sudden the arrows are pointing in the OPPOSITE direction! So I turn around and try to go a different route. I end up back at where I got the item I came to get. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I'm freaking out until i see a sign that says, "shortcut to checkouts." I'm relieved now...or so I thought. I follw some arrows that I haven't seen before, without not looking up at ANYTHING around me. When I finally DO look up, I'm looking straight at the item I came to get ONCE again. MAN!!! Frustration is getting the best of me right now, and I didn't care. This store needs to be more clarified, and they need more than ONE exit and entrance. It's INSANE!!! After being pushed to my limit, I get to someone and ask them, "can you lead me the way out of this place?" The person just looks at me and tells me how to get out. I follow the direction carefully, and then I end up at the checkout lanes. THANK GOD!!! I CAN GO HOME NOW!!! So, I buy it and go home, fighting the traffic. I get home, and put on my white shirt over my Superman shirt, so it looks like I'm Clark Kent, and I can jsut rip off my shirt to reveal my secret identity. So, here I am, updating my journal, and I'm about to go to the East lobby and bullshit even more. WISH ME LUCK!!!

Schoooooooooooooool's Out...for winter(?)
Well hello everybody and welcome to another WONDERFUL update starring your favorite Radke, JONATHAN Radke. A rumor has spilled about me that child pornography was taken of me at a very young age. Who spilled this rumor? Me...just right now. Well, the truth is, if indeed it were true, I wouldn't press charges...I would be honored that there was SOMEONE out there that wanted to take a picture of me...fully clothed or even perhaps, nude. There is a lot of speculation out there that child pornography is "wrong" and "illegal," but the blunt truth is, is that child pornography is FLATTERING. I mean, if someone out there thinks you look good naked, then you KNOW you're not an ugly person. So my final verdict is, child pornography should be viewed as a daily occurence, like beating old people or peeing on your neighbor's cat.
views expressed by Jonathan are not affiliated with that of Yahoo! nor are the true views expressed by Jonathan Radke. He is merely going for a shock factor...we now return you to your irregularly schedule update
Hahaha...all the funny stuff aside, it's time for an update. I have a rather humorous story for when I got home on Saturday involving myself, Johnny, and a POSSUM that looked FIERCE.
Well, when I got off work on Saturday, I went home almost immediately (stopping for a quick bite at the local food junction). When I got home, I played some piano, played some drums, and just had an all out FANTASTIC time not thinking. Well...at about 19:00 (7PM), I get this call from my good friend Johnny Salinas. He questions, "hey what are you doing?" I answer back, "oh nothin'..just chillin'." His next response is the one that takes the cake...he says, "well, can we use you truck? we gotta get rid of a possum." Right now, I'm like "what the shit? a possum?!?" So of course, I say yes and leave for Johnny's household to assist with the rabies infested animal. Now, I'm thinking that they have already caught it, and is just waiting for a truck to free it in the wild. But NO...when I get there, we see it jump out of the recycling bin onto the side of his house by his gate. Right now, all Johnny and I can think of is shine our flashlights into it's face. Coming to the realization that saying, "come here" and shining our lights in it's eyes wouldn't work, Johnny goes inside to brainstorm with his parents while I stay put, meticulously shining BOTH flashlights as hard as I could. He comes back out with an idea to get the possum in a garbage can and bringing it to the bayou. Well, I must say...easier said than done. We get the trashcan and we try to kinda scoop him into it...didn't work. His dad hands us brooms next so that we might kinda nudge him in...NOPE. When we have the thing cornered against the house, I would imagine why it wouldn't like having a bunch of brissles pushed up against it. "That must be why he's hissing" me and Johnny thought. Plus, the brooms weren't working anyway because the brissles were too soft and they would bend while trying to push or "nudge" it in. I go back inside looking for something a little more sturdier so I ask his dad if they have a small shovel I could use. So I get it, and when I get back outside, Johnny still has the bastard cornered. I get in there, with the garbage handle in my left had (up against the wall) and the shovel in my right. I try to just scoop it in with the shovel. It didin't like that. It hissed harder and louder at me, sounding like it was about to pounce. Right now, I was on the verge of shitting in my pants, but I swallowed my fear, and I was then so persistant on getting it in the can. So I try and try and try and it's hissing louder and louder each "scoop" I do until finally, it gets into the can. SUCCESS!!! Well, the hard part was over, and all I needed was a cap for the can. I ask it from Johnny. In the heat of the moment, Johnny says that there's no cap for it. "Are you shitting me?!?!" fills in my head. So while he's looking for it, i'm there, holding the OPEN trashcan, praying to God that it doesn't jump out and attack my face. Finally, he finds it, and we slam it on there. The next place to go, was the bed of my truck. We put it in, and off to the bayou it was for us. We arrive at the bayou, and get the trashcan out. Now, we expected it to just run out, trying to get as far away of the can as possible. But NO...we open the lid and it is just as still as a corpse. We put the can on its side and see if it runs out...no sound or movement. Johnny then turned the can upside down, and the possum just flops out, as if it were dead. Right now we're trying to grasp the situation, and trying to figure out why it would have died. We make noises toward it to see if it still was alive, but no response. Finally, on the last hiss i let out, it hisses back, so this makes us jump. The next task was to get the trashcan back. Johnny went to behind it, and grabbed it VERY cautiously. When he grabbed, it we were OUT of there. We ran back to my truck, and didn't look back. "What an exciting story I have now, to tell my children." is what I was thinking on the way back home.
Later that night, Inactive Ignorance practiced for the first time in MONTHES!!! It went alright...nothing really came out from it, but it was fun playin' with the guys again. That night, Brian, Mike, and myself went to Copperfield Bowl to play a few games and then off to Brian's to play a little pool. It was a nice way to end an eventful night.
Sunday I worked from 15:00-21:00, and when I got off, I hung out until I got a call from Johnny...at 3 AM. He wanted to see if I could hang out a bit before he went home, so he came over and asked me to do something while he was here. I fell asleep that night after watching a few "Home Movies" episodes.
Monday sucked...worked 17:00-21:00 (5PM-9PM) and then went home to finish studying for my STATS FINAL!!! Up until 3 AM studying was rather tedious, but I was understanding all of it, so it was ok.
Tuesday was here, the last test I had to take. It was my time to shine (in class). I lye aroung all day until I have to leave for school. I take the test (8 questions over 19 chapter), and then sell my books back. I got a cool hundred bucks outta it though. I went to Lauren's to hang a bit since Johnny was at Emily's, and then I left when Lauren was going to bed and we were suppose to do something, but I haven't heard from Johnny and it's 01:15 now. I last spoke to him at about 23:00, and he said he was gonna call me when he was leaving her house, which was gonna be in a half hour. I didn't get the call, so here I am, updating the journal. My fans should thank Johnny for not calling. And on that note, I'm Jonathan Radke, please tune in next time, World.

Once again, right around the same time...ON-A-SATURDAY
Well now...it has been another week, and yet another update for all my loyal fans. Well, this past week hasn't been very eventful...I've been taking tests and doing stuff like that. Last Saturday, after I got off from work, I went home and played my piano and drums as well as eating some dinner. When I was about to go get a oil change, I noticed that it was 17:30, and the place where I get it changed was closed...so it was held off another day or so. Ya see, my oil change was due on the 21st of November, but I didn't really get it done until Wednesday, December 8th. That night I think I went to Lauren's to hang with the crew a little bit.
Sunday was a day of studying for Chemistry, and that's about it...worked from 15:00-21:00, but that's all.
Monday was the big day for the test, and I thought I did rathr well...22/34 is what I got. Not too bad, but could have been better. After test taking, I went home to take a nap before my trip to work.
Nothing really happened on Tuesday or Wednesday except studying for Microbiology & Speech and working.
Thursday was here, and two tests in the same day!!! Not a pleasurable experience. After I took my Micro test, I relaxed the rest of the day after stopping by my mom's office to get some free grub. I went Christmas shopping with my mom this night!!! It was not too exciting. Spent $100 on my sister and got told that what I wanted is the stupidest thing I've ever wanted. Eh...it's ok...i guess. What I want is the new Nintendo handheld called the Nintendo DS. I have been keeping an eye on this for quite a while, and having my mom say that to me kinda pissed me off. After I went "shopping" with my mom, I went home to burn some CDs. I went to Lauren's soon after that to chill with Josh and Mike. After Lauren's, Mike and I took a trip to his house. We sort of tried racing, going about 90-94 on Eldridge. Stupid kill switch the computer in our trucks have. I left Mike's at about 03:30 after watching him play Need for Speed Underground 2.
On Friday, I SLEPT IN!!! Until about 15:30 that is...a GOOD sleep-in. I work up, got dressed, and left for work. After work, I went to Lauren's to get the game that was due that day at noon...i fucking hate late charges. It was my fault though, so I can't really blame anybody. After LMK's, I went to Brewer's house to watch most of Hero, and play a little pool. I went home at like 01:00, and watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Call me a dork, but I thought this was actually a good movie. That's it for my update this week, so I'll sign off saying, "You stay classy, Houston, Texas."
OH YEAH!!! CDs and Movies are UPDATED!!!

This early...on a SATURDAY?!?
Hey everybody...it is QUITE early, and surprisingly, I'M AT WORK!!! I guess it's ok though...I get to leave at 1500. Plus, I'm in the East Lobby looking EXTRAVEGANT...with nice shoes, pants, and shirt on. And guess what...NO NINTENDO!!! Except for my wallet of course, but nobody sees that...unless they're looking when I take it out, in that case, i don't think they will say anything becasue i mean come on...IT'S NINTENDO!!! I also worked yesterday from 1700-2100, which went over quite smoothly. People, this job is SO easy...it's by far my MOST cush job here. No walking, no back and forth stuff, not NOTHING!!! All I have to do is sit on my ass, answering the phones, "patient information, this is Jonathan, how may I help you?" and locating patients for family members on the phone and in person. Probably the hardest part, is giving them directions to where they need to go...which is EXTREMELY easy since I've worked courier for 2 year AND bedfinder for a year. So simple...SO-SIMPLE. I'm sure a lot of you out there hate me for having a job like this, but the truth is, I don't ask for these jobs...they're just sort of offered to me because I have a extremely good reputation in this hospital.
Ya see, first of all, in 2001, I became a tech in the ER, which was not easy...EKGs, vital signs, patient transport, collecting specimens, stuff like that. Well, that was oringinally suppose to be a summer job. After summer, I went to UH where I started to go to school. I kept in contact with my ER boss, and I asked her if I could pick up some hours on the weekends. I picked some up, and things were going great. In about May-June 2002, my boss asked me if I wanted to pick up even more hours, being this thing called the "courier." Now, I've seen the couriers around, but I wasn't so sure what they did. So, being intrigued by this offer, I accepted. I was getting more hours, and I even had more time to chill. Not that much time, but still time. This job can get hard if you let it get to you, but I was always real laid back and didn't let the nurses get to me. Every Saturday and Sunday from 1500-2300 were the hours I worked. Now keep in mind, this was only suppose to be TEMPORARY. I did it a few times, and then the nursing office how well I performed the task, so they offered me a job, with better pay, and more hours. So, began the first transition. It worked out for the better also, because in October when we get raises, I went from making $8.00 and hour, to $9.25 an hour. I was making $7.00 being a tech in the ER, so in like the time-span of 2-2.5 monthes, I got a $2.25 raise! Being courier was actually fun for me, and I really enjoyed it...for a good while actually. While being courier, my new boss asked me if i wasnted to pick up some MORE hours...which was cool considering i like money. So, she told me I was going to be the nursing office secretary, doing group analysis' and stuff like that. That became an even more cush job, but i was still courier on weekends. The secretary job was cush but not THAT cush...a lot of responsibility in my hands, with every director's census numbers and stuff. Well, I continued to work for the regular secretary when she went on vacations, and I was still being courier. In about May-June 2003, I was offered a job titled the "bedfinder." Now, this is a job that my best friend, Johnny Salinas, had (he was the first one EVER at MHMC Hospital). Basically, this job consisted of walking around TWICE in an eight hour day, checking each room, checking if the hospital matched what it actually THOUGHT was in there. This was the most cush job I have acquired, and I was not doing courier anymore!!! Although, I was still under the nursing office, so I COULD be one if they needed me. So, I worked 40 hours a week, and I was extremely happy with that. When school started, I couldn't have worked as much as I have been, so they had to hire someone new...James Bagabagon. He worked the days i did not. He was also courier too. The first semester went great, and then secon semester did well also. But in the first semester of 2004, things all got wacked up...I went from working three days a week with every weekend off to working two days a week, with being courier on Saturdays. I didn't like this a lot, but hey...it was work, right? So I di this for a while until this next thing which I am about to tell you happened. Well, roughly in late November 2003, James became a phlebotamist (drawing blood in lab)! At this time, I was only working Fridays as bedfinder, and Saturdays as courier. When he ransferred, they ELIMINATED the bedfinder position, and made me courier Friday AND Saturday. Well, all of this mess was going REALLY fast, so I really had no idea what was going on. I did courier for a while until my boss asked me in her office to talk about my status. She then told me that she was going to transfer me to the business office. Right now, I was a little confused on what I was suppose to do. I mean, was I courier, or was I under th business office now? And if so, what will I do? I had so many questions for my boss and my supposed NEW boss. Well, it all got straightened out, and I got transferred into the business office. I was told I was doing "information technology" which is just a fancy name for information desk. Like I said...I never put in transfers...my bosses always just try to get what they think is the best thing for me. And if it requires less work with more pay, who am i to reject their offer? Plus, as I said earlier, I LIKE MONEY. Man...that got unnecessarily long. Sorry bout that people.
Well, Thanksgiving was a hoot, with my Tita Bette (YEAH RIGHT!!!) Man...she spent the entire time asking me question after question after question after question about the most minute things in life! I mean come on Bette...get a clue!!! I was being my usual annoyed self, making sarcastic responses in regard of her, and she was taking all of them seriously! It made me so angry that she wasn't picking up on it!!! I don't remember every one, but my dad was pretty heavily intoxicated when we finally sat down to eat. When he's ddrunk and she's here, he doesn't hold anything back. He said something like, "...and you can't pick up sarcasm!" She heard him, but I don't think she knew what it is, because she just laughed and said, "i know i am!!!" The entire night went similar to this, and RIGHT after dinner, I went up to my room until they left. It's what we all do...my sister hang around Grant, I go to my room, and my dad passes out (i don't think he planned this, it just sort of happened). So, Thanksgiving was a great time, and that night, I hung with the Salinas crew, playing Cranium!!! One of the BEST family/friends games ever made. I'm sad to say, that the Team JA did not succeed in winning. Team CV won...it's all good though...they got the EASY ones. Hahaha...just kidding Christina and Vince!!! Well, we ended the night passing out in random places in the second floor of Casa de Salinas.
I'm not going to bore you with mundane details about the following days, so I'll just say the important stuff. David and Jackie moved into their new apartments and they're GREAT!!! We helped them move in, and chilled out. I think the television was the hardest task...props go out to Johnny and David for being able to do that. Me and Andrew handled the smaller, lighters item, such as the sofa and lamp. We went home, and since the Salinas dad had a early morning that next day, we all just resided to our homes and fell asleep (after making a few Christmas cards).
Well, it's test time, and I hate school. That'll end that discussion, and that'll end this entry. LATAZ!!!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!!!!!
Well, it's been almost a whole month, and you know as well as I do, that I'll TRY to make this as short as possible, but it's inevitable that it WON'T. The past few weeks has been kinda chill out for me. I don't really remember EVERY detail that happened, but it's probably best that way.
The biggest news of my life right now is that I have to hang up the old scrubs for retirement on Saturday night, because the bedfinder position is no more in Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital, and I am being transferred into the business office having the title of "information technology," which is just a PC term for a guy who sits at the front desk answering questions and telling people where their loved ones are. This is a BIG change for me, but fo the better...i guess. Sure I'm gonna miss a lot of the nurses and PCAs and secretaries that I hung out with while being courier and bedfinder, but I looked on the bright side of this-->I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE ASIAN NURSES ANYMORE. No mroe accent that cuts through me like a hot knife in butter, no more questions about my college or health by EVERY SINGLE FILIPINO in the immediate care units, no more middle aged filipinos trying to bond with me by telling me that my hair is, as they put it, "RAD-I-CAL." The only thing I WILL miss is the abundance of food that they always have. But you know what I realized last night as I was laying in my bed? Those people really care about me, and when I was in the hospital, really needing some support, they were all by my side, wish and praying for the best. If I really felt the way a lot of people think I felt, I would be one big asshole. I don't hate ALL Asians...just the ones I don't know. All those nurses are my "professional life family", and even though it crosses with my social family a lot, it's not THAT bad.
I think I know a big factor that had me come to the conclusion that I can't stand a majority of the Asians...my tita Bette. This walking, talking, ANNOYING filipino...BEAST of a woman (not "beast" as in BIG, but "beast" as in SCARY) that every time I see her I just wanna go to my room and revert into fetal position where nobody could bother me. NOT EVEN HER. If you haven't met any crazy Asians in your life, which is HIGHLY unlikely, spend 30 seconds with this woman, and she will change that. All she does is ask me questions about my love life, school, friends, the "boom bangs" (<--what she calls my drums). It all goes in the same fucking order too EVERY TIME.
I eventually come down to eat dinner with her, my uncle Jim, and my cousin Camille, OH and my family. The questions start the SECOND i sit down:
Bette: So Jon, do you have a girlfriend?
Me: No, I'm trying to focus on school right now. I don't really have the money or the time for one.
Bette: Well, that's ok I guess. Your time will come.
(as if that's all that matters in life)
Me: Yeah.
Bette: You still going to the U-ni-ver-si-ty (<--OVER articulated) of Houston?
Me: Yeah, I'm still a cougar.
Bette: What is that...a "cougar"?
Me: It's our school mascot. We're the Houston Cougars.
Bette: oh, HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
(a random burst of laughter that she does while we all just look at her like she's nuts)
Are you still doing history?
(now, at this point, I wouldn't mind too much if this was the first time she asks me about my major, but this occurs EVERY-TIME. I mean, she could AT LEAST ask if I'm still doing something even REMOTELY close to my ACTUAL major, which is indeed, Pharmacy. A science, or even a math would be acceptable.)
Me: No, I'm doing Pharmacy now. I changed it last year from Biology.
(of course I have to be a nice guy and not make her feel like a complete moron)
Bette: Oh when you are a pharmacist, me and your uncle Jim will be your first patients.
Me: I'll be a pharmacist, not a doctor. You can come to me with your prescriptions after you go see your doctor.
Bette: Well you can give your uncle Jim and me some free drugs.
Me: I don't know about that.
Bette: So do you still play your boom bangs?
Jim (her husband): They're called drums, Bette.
Bette: I know what they are! You're DRUNK Jim.
(The table is silent as we are all thinking the same-exact-thing...he's only had one beer, and she's had a FULL glass of wine. Now, it would appear to me, that she's the one drunk considering she's about 90 pounds, and an EXTREMELY light drinker.)
Jon: Yeah, I still play them sometimes when I have time, but right now I'm working a lot and studying a lot too, so I don't really have that much time with them.
Bette: Oh that's good (as if she didn't pay attention to what i was just saying).
Jim: Why don't you just leave him alone, Bette?
Bette: HE'S MY NEPHEW! I DON'T GET TO SEE HIM ALL THE TIME!!! So Jon, how's Johnny? Has he gone to Iraq yet?
Me: That's Matt...he's doing fine. He's not gonna be sent to Iraq though because his job is too important here.
Bette: Oh, that's good...I don't want him to die.
Me: Johnny's doing good too though...he's still in Northwestern, doing music.
Bette: Well, that's nice. Jon, what is that? (i have a beer next to me)
Me: It's beer.
Bette: is that good?
Me: I like it
Bette (to Jim): Get me that. That's what I want.
Now, keep in mind that this is a woman who can hardely stomach the taste of wine...and she wants BEER?!?! YEAH RIGHT!!!
It just keeps on going and going and going until we all stand up to go to our seperate places (outside, living room, MY ROOM). I bring this up, because they are coming over tonight for Thanksgiving dinner, and I'm gonna have to deal with her all night. If you want more stories of my Tita Bette, just ask me online. I'm prolly gonna talk about her again AFTER tonight, so just be warned.
Johnny came into town on Tuesday, November 23rd (boys night out, since Emily worked until 03:00). We had a blast at Mike's house just hangin' out and stuff. Yesterday I worked at the front desk..BY MYSELF!!! I look quite impressive also. One of the supervisors came up to my mom today, and said, "Jonathan looked very handsome, Susan. You're going to get a LOT of girls callin' the house!" Afte work, I went to Lauren's to hang with Lauren and Josh. We watched ELF!!! This is actually a good movie. Not his best, but it's enjoyable the whole way through. Ashley and Elliot stopped by to say hello and hang out a little bit. Lise and Bentley came too, but then they left to go to another place to hang out and drink. I left the apartment at 02:00 (THAT'S EARLY FOR ME!!!), and it was off to bed after a pit stop at the poopy eater.
TODAY IS THANKSGIVING!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!! I know what you all are DYING to know...what is Jonathan Robert Radke, thankful for?
Well, I'm thankful for a complete year without any hospitalizations, I'm thankful that I have lots of friends and family that care about me, and let me know that they're behind me in whatever it is I wanna do, I'm thankful that I have a good job, the best friends ANYONE could ever have, and an awesome family, and i'm thankful for being alive!!! On that note, i wish everybody out here a happy thanksgiving, and may all your thanks be genuine.

Crying really kinda sucks
Hey all...I'm not my usual hapy-go-lucky self right now, because a talk with the parental units just took place. I might as well face it...I'm going to live with these diseases my whole life, and if I don't take care of them, it'll be a shorter life for me. But I'll get into that later on after the update.
On Saturday, I went to work and it sucked...like always, but oh well. After work, Mike met me up at the hospital to take me to Aimee Winker's friend's apartment for a little party. I didn't drink anything all night, but i DID hang out with old high school friend, Aimee Winkler and all of her friends. They're good people. IT WAS DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO, SET YOUR CLOCKS ONE HOUR BACK! Well, I didn't get home until like 04:30, and then I PASSED OUT.
On Sunday, I mostly hung around the house and then went to Michael's to watch a movie called The Thing with Kurt Russell and other people. Since the whole Terrance and Phillip costume thing didn't really work out (because I didn't have blonde hair anymore), I made a new costume. I was "Fake Mustache Man." I drew a green mustache on the right side of my face, and a blue mustache on the left side of my face. In addition to that, I taped a sign on my chest that said, "Fake Mustache Man." It was rather witty. Even though I wasn't doing anything, I still wanted to be someone I wasn't for Halloween. Brian, Mike, and I went to Lauren Kay's to play Conker's Bad Fur Day, and we did for a while, and then left at 02:30. It was quite fun!!!
Ah Monday...the most BORING day of the week for me. I got up and got ready for school, and then I left for class at 10:00. The lab was SO BORING today. All we had to do was make a soap and describe it, make a nylon and describe it, and then explain what certain fragrances smelled like. No post-lab questions. After class, I went to Lauren Kay's to hang around a little bit before she had to leave for her class, or NOT leave to take her test. It was undecided...until about 13:45, which was 15 minutes AFTER she would have had to leave to make it there on time. Well, I get a call from my mom and she tells me to come home early because she wants to talk to me. This is never good...we always end up fighting or being sad or being mad. It's never good. So I get home at like 20:30, and she asks to talk to me in the kitchen.
She told me that my test results came back and my thyroid is REALLY low (which is bad), my hemoglobin A1C is EXTREMELY high (EXTREMELY bad), and my kidneys are failing. This is why I need to take a 24 hour urine test all day Wednesday. My doctor told my mom that he honestly does not see me living past the age of 30. This news coming from my mom hit me...HARD. I started crying...this happens every-so-often to me because I start hating myself for having all my diseases. The life I want is a life that can not be accomplished...i want to be able to live without insulin injections, without thyroid problems, eat an ice cream and not think about the consequences, stay up late, and not think about the consequences. I would just like to live a normal life for once, but I know that's just not going to happen. I have four diseases plus one less organ. There is ALWAYS something that will be wrong with me no matter what. But even though it wasn't my fault for getting these diseases, it IS my fault for not taking care of them. I am an irresponsible diabetic, and i don't want to be this way my whole life. I don't want to be a 31 year old, connected to a dialysis machine, or even worse, lying in a burial plot. There is way too much shit to see in this world, and dying at the young age of thirty would not be acceptable in my book. I need to think about a lot of stuff, and hopefully, the next time I update, it won't be as "dark." Night all.

Well, this blonde thing lasted about FIVE days
Wow...it's quite early in the morning...well, since I last updated, I haven't really been up to much.
On Sunday night, I was chillin' at Lauren's while we dyed my hair. Or, as I like to say it...KILL my head. Since my hair was dyed black, it took a few dye kits and bleach kits also. 2 dye kits + 2 bleaching? MAN!!! After the first night of dying, my hair was blondish orange (blonde on sides and orange on top). I got home at about 03:30, and then it was off to sleep with this cat.
Monday was here, and I woke up at 10:30 (with having to be at UH at 11:00..yeah...i didn't wanna go. But i eventually did. It's my lab class, and I can't miss anymore of it. I left at 10:45(withOUT my lab jacket). So I got about half there until I realized that. I turned around, because I just didn't feel like wasting another 20 bucks for a new lab coat that i wouldn't ever need again. I actually went to chemistry today...after a lot of debating on my part. After class, I went to the hospital to chill out a little bit. Everyone was tripped about my hair. After that, I went home to try to fix the hair problem with some heavy duty stuff from "Sally's Beauty Shop." Brie helped me out since I can't handle something like that. THAT SHIT WAS BURNING!!! I was REALLY doing some damage to my hair. I went to go see The Grudge with Lauren, Karla, Tiffany, and Mario. Don't go see this movie people...I mean, it has it's moments where you get spooked, but over all, this movie SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. Wait until one of your friends rents it and watch it late at night while in the comfort in your own home. After the flick, I went over to Lauren's becasue she is a little wuss and didn't want to be alone. hahaha...just kidding LMK. I left her place at around 02:30-03:00, and then went home. Sleep then subdued me.
Tuesday morning (<--THAT'S A STORE!!!), I overslept because I had a hypoglycemic reaction. Thus, I missed my Speech class. I came home and slept a little bit before I had to leave for Microbiology and Statistics. I got to campus, and I didn't go to Micro because I had to catch up on my Stats. Went to Statistics, and then it was back to the hospital again to chill. I went home after I chilled, and this is when I showed my mom a little sort of rash on my back, and she told me to see the doctor tomorrow. Of course, I chilled out again with Lauren & crew this night, playing a game called "Catch Phrase". I came home at about the same time, and then fell asleep.
Wednesday, I had a full day ahead of me...I woke up and TRIED to take care of my ticket (getting it dismissed). I didn't know that it doesn't get put in the computer until 2-3 weeks after it's given. After the courthouse, I went to try to get a flu shot at the hospital before I went to class (at 14:30). They didn't give me a flu shot because of the interactions it might have had with the rash on my back, so I had to go see my doctor to see what was wrong with my once again. My doctor didn't know what it was, but he gave me some medication that I have to take for another 5 pills a day for 5 days. While at the hospital, it takes a lot of things to do to get an appolintment right away, and a lot of time is taken. In other words, I had to miss class. I went home at 18:00, because tonight is THE NIGHT for my shows. I have Smallville at 19:00, *NEW* South Park at 21:00, and the new series "Drawn Together" at 21:30. Great, great, great shows. I actually stayed in this night, and went to sleep at about 01:00.
Thursday was here, and I had to work (after no classes that is). I arrived at work, and stayed until 23:00 like I always do. It was Thursday night, and it was Lauren Kay night. Some more "Catch Phrase" playing went on, and I left at 03:00-03:30.
On Friday, I went to work, and GOT SENT HOME because my hair color isn't my NATURAL hair color. Can anybody say BULLSHIT? I certainly can. I was so pissed off...I mean, with all this shit I do for the hospital, I surely don't get appreciated one bit. I says in the guidelines that employees can dye their hair only natural colors, but what my BOSS sees it as is employees can only dye their hair THEIR natural color. Which is compleetely bullshit considering that SO MANY nurses and employees don't have their natural hair color. It's a fucking hospital...what does hair color matter for the treatment of patients? Well, since my mom and boss are like best friends, she called my home to tell my 'rents that I got sent home because of my hair. Even though she acted mad, I could tell she was glad that she was right. All week she has been telling me, "Don't come crying to me when they send you home from the hospital." A lot of arguing went on wit the parental units (mostly the father). I went to Tiffany's party this night, as Terrance and Phillip (me and Mike). Costume was a hit, and it brought a sad ending to the new BLONDE Jonathan. I went home, and fell asleep because I was HELLA tired.
This morning I am up quite early because I HAVE to dye my hair back to it's related natural hair color. yay. I hate my job now. Well, since I REALLY have nothing else to say, I'll say GOOD-BYE!!!

03:00 <--right on the DOT! -
It's ok...there's always next year.
Hello everybody...it's abotu 03:00 right now, and i'm sure you can TELL that because i'm updating at 03:00. Well, it has been a rahte runeventfull week...if i can remember it. Let's see...
Tuedsay...i ACTUALLY went to class and to my surprise, THERE WERE NO QUIZZES!!! Well, after class I came home again to study on my Chemisry 2 test (Chapter 17 that is).
Wednesday was here, and I SKIPPED my class this day. I woke up at 15:00, and I watched a few South park episodes and then it was off to the books with me (after the Astros and Smallville<-- THE FLASH was on, so i wore The Flash shirt in honor of it). The game was good...WE WON!!! Smallville was GREAT...when is it NOT?!?! I did Chapter 18 after that.
On Thursday I went to school, SKIPPING Microbiology, and then I went to work. I did Chapter 24 and got to finish it BEFORE I went to Lauren's. I went to Lauren's, played some NINTENDO, didn't drink ANYTHING, and then went home to sleep.
Friday was here...and i DIDN'T have to work...THANK GOD. I went to take my Chemistrty 2 test. It went alright...i didn't know how to do only TWO. Oh...I also chugged TWO beers before I left for the test. Don't say it...I know I am...IN COLLEGE. Well, after the test, I called my house to ask what my paretns were up to, and they said that they were on their way to eat out and asked me if I wanted to join them. Free food + free beer?!?!?! DEFINENTLY. Wen went to this place called , uh, I CAN'T REMEMBER. It was a German restaurant on Gessner and Westheimer. GOOD SHIT. My dad bought me beer!!! YAY!!! After eating, my parents went home, and I went to Lauren's (she wasn't there, because she was visiting "Awesome Ashley Alderman" (<--as is saved in Lauren's phonebook). I hung out with Lise, Bentley, and Josh's friends pretty much all night until I left at 01:15 to Taylor's house. I wanted to see all those people because I haven't seen them in a while. Plus, Juan was drunk, and that NEVER happens. Well, it was time to leave, and I left her apartment...and i'm home now!!! AND "AWESOME ASHLEY ALDERMAN" told me to update while drunk, so I did!!! DOOSE!!!
To be honest, I'm kinda drunk, so I dunno if this end stuff is gonna work.

We're kickin' ASS with the ASTROS!!!
Hey everyone!!! It's actually LIGHT outside when I'm updating!!! It's the middle of the day that i'm updating and not late at night!!! I'm gonna try to keep this update rather shorter than usual.
Well, Wednesday was here, and I had to g to Chemistry because I've missed a lot. After class, I went to Lauren Kay's to pick up my CDs that I left there, and played some Dr. Mario. After LMK's, I went home to study for my Speech test. I know...study for SPEECH?!?! IT'S ALL COMMON SENSE!!! I know it is, but I wanted to make sure I knew the material. I REALLY wanted to stay for the Astros party at Lauren's, but school comes before fun...well, in this case anyway. Sadly, the Astros lost though. Smallville was great, and tomorrow The Flash will be on it. WATCH IT!!!
Thursday went alright. Test in Speech (EASY), found out my grade on my Microbiology test which was a 68 which isn't TOO bad...it's a C+, but I still thought I did better than that. After UH I went to work where I worked my ass off, hanging out. Heh heh heh. After work, it was off to Lauren Kay's to play MORE Nintendo!!! Debbie was there and it was just us three hanging out. Debbie soon left, and it was Lauren and I playing "Conker's Bad Fur Day." If you haven't seen this game, you don't know what you're missing...FUNNIEST GAME ON THE 64.
On Friday, I went to work, and then after the craziness of bedfinding I was presented with a perplexing question of which party to go to...it was either the Nintendo party at Lauren Kay's or the youngun party (where I would be the experienced cooler older guy) at Andrew's house. It shouldn't have been a hard decision...I mean, Nintendo party or 14 year olds getting drunk? COME ON...NINTENDO ALL THE WAY. I picked up 4 Steel Reserves (8.1 % alcohol, 24 oz. can...$0.99 also), and went to the N-party. I didn't expect to get too drunk, but I underestimated myself. I drank one Steel Reserve in the first 20 minutes, and got a buzz goin'. I grabbed another one, and drank that one in about 15 minutes. I'm not gonna lie...I was drunk after this one. But once you start me, you can't stop me until I pass out or run out of alcohol. I grabbed a third Steel Reserve, and this one, I drank a little slower until Lauren said she was gonna take it from me, which at that point I chugged the rest (about half the can). Don't be fooled people...I really haven't been DRUNK drunk in a long while and it was past due. So, I play Conker after everyone leaves, and I pass out in the couch with the game still running. I was so wasted. Like EXTREMELY wasted.
On Saturday, I woke up at about 10:00 to take a piss, and then I crashed in Josh's bed (he wasn't there). I woke up again at 13:30 when Lauren left for work, and she let me chill until I had to leave for work at 14:30. So, I stayed a little playing Conker. Went to work, and then off to Lauren Kay's again after. More Nintendo playing went on, and this night, I didn't drink a lot...maybe like 3-4 beers...ALL NIGHT. While hanging out in Lauren's room, Mike picked up the disposable scapel that was in my pocket, now on the floor. Thinking the scapel was a "toy" scapel, he started swinging it at me with the cover OFF. You could imagine the state of terror I was in. He was pretending like he was cutting me, and when he actually cut me, I didn't notice until there was blood right above my hand. Thank God he didn't play cut my throat. Lauren and I were baffled at what Mike had done, and I was also shocked. Some minor care was done to it, and I was fine...just a little creeped out. I went home this night, because I missed my bed...and my shower.
Sunday was here, and this was a rather eventful cleaning day...Lauren Kay's apartment that is. I got there at about 17;30, and started to help them clean up. Mike had been there since about 14:00 or so. When I got there, we cleaned up a little, and then went to the HEB to get more cleaning supplies. When we got back we TACKLED the apartmen. Mike was on living room detail, I was on kitchen detail, and Lauren was supervising the whole job while helping also). getting stains out of the carpet, scraping off plastered meats from bowls and pans, getting the awful smell out f the apartment. We did it all and happily feasted to a seafood basket from "Pizza & More." We basked in the cleanliness and watched The Best of Will Ferrell: Vol. 2 and The Best of Chris Kattan. I wasn't too impressed with the Volume Two of Will Ferrel, but I laughed my ASS off with the Chris Kattan. That is DEFINENTLY a must have (when I have the money). After watching those, Mike popped in The Wizard of Oz, and I watched MOST of it, but not all of it. I left the apartment at about 03:00. On the way home, I get pulled over (about 2 minutes from my house on West Little York) for having my left brake light out. New to me. Luckily, she didn't give me a ticket for the light, but she HAD to give me one for not having an up-to-date insurance card. I was freakin' out because I'm on deffered judication until October 31st. So I ask her if this can be dismissed without any repercussions on my D.J. She said that I should be able to have it dismised as long as I prove I had insurance on that date. I'm content at this time, but I was still a little pissed off that I got pulled over. Isn't it just luck, where I get pulled over not doing ANYTHING? Not speeding or not drinking. I considered myself lucky. I got home, and wrote my parents a note telling them that I need a new insurance card, adn then I passed out in my bed.
On Monday morning, or should I say Monday afternoon, I woke up at 14:30 because of a hypoglycemic reaction. Damn you diabetes. I miseed my lab class, and I missed turning in my lab that I stayed up until 5 AM finishing. I went to work, and then went to Lauren Kay's to play some Nintendo. Proprs go out to the 'Stros for beating St. Louie a third time. WORLD SERIES HERE WE COME!!! I went home, and then went to sleep almost immediately after going to Lauren's.
So here I am, updating once more!!! I TRIED to not make it long as usual at least. Itz-a-ka-DOOSE!!!
