Peter Rogers Christmas Dinner 2001

Once again Peter Rogers most generously invited many fans along to Pinewood for a great meal and good company.

I have always enjoyed my trips to Pinewood but I have always especially enjoyed the events hosted By Peter as a gift to his fans. Peter is very much a gentleman and you can see how much he loves seeing his fans as each Pinewood event I have attended he expresses how he enjoys and often it can be quite moving.

I asked my friend Alex if he would like to join me for this event even though he's not a carry on fan and he happily accepted.

After a fun trip going round in circles a few thousand times! Heehe... Trying to find the place we eventually arrived at Pinewood.

Once we had hung our coats up etc we were offered wine or orange juice and we went trough to the reception were I started glancing round to look for familiar faces.Which I found. Such as Adrian, Gareth, Sheryl, Neil, Robert, Ted and one or two others whom I apologise if I haven't mentioned you!
As usual the sales table was buzzing and money was exchanged.

Soon after we were invited through to the dining area to take our seats. In the ballroom.
The tables were laid lovely and everyone had allocated seat. We were seated at the far end tucked in a corner near the stage. Very cosy :)

And as a gift on each place at the table Peter had kindly had some Carry On Mugs made for each of us as a gift.

It didn't take long for us who didn't know each other to get aquatinted and once the wine started flowing so did the tears of laughter! Thanks to one mad lady I was sat next to. The food as usual was up to its high standard and here was plenty to eat and drink.

Once dinner had finished Peter had arranged some entertainment for us. Four young very lively classical players... I can't remember their name but they were very good and full of energy!

After another heartfelt speech from Peter most people finished up at the bar! A good place to finish a fine evening.

I think I can speak for everyone in saying a big Thank you to Peter for his kindness and a lovely time once again at Pinewood.

Once more I went home with even more fond memories of Pinewood.

Thank you Peter :)
