| he successfully made it through surgery with only a bruised spleen. Since his surgery Arko has become a different dog completely. He has boundless amounts of energy, is eating anything that is not nailed down, and we have had a hard time keeping him rested and quiet. We are still waiting for the green light from the vet in order for playtime with the other dogs. We do know that Arko loves the ladies, gets a little irritated at fast moving fluffy small dogs and cats are unknown at this time. Arko knows the commands Sit, Down, Go to Your Bed, Leave it and is working hard on Stay. He loves long walks and is practicing walking on a gentle leader. He is houstrained and crate trained. Arko does seem to have a little stranger anxiety and we are also working on that. He is putting on some desperately needed weight nicely and should be looking great in no time at all. Arko came into rescue in August of 2005. |
