| Pictured above are the runic symbols used in the Elder Futhark. There are 24 letters, divided into 3 groups of 8, or aettir. Each aett has a theme joining the meanings of the included letters. There are different configurations of the runic alphabet, which you can find on the Net. But, this is the one I use. |
