| I'm sure rune stones are available for purchase at many stores... But store-bought stones will have no real personal meaning for you. Taking the time to make them adds your energy to the stones. There are several methods of making and blessing stones, but I have used created a simple way to do it. |
| Creating Rune Stones You will need clay modeling compound and a paint pen. (I use Sculpey III compound) You can choose any colors you wish. Just make sure the colors contrast well so that you'll be able to read the runes in dim light! Using a small amount of clay, roll into a ball. Then press it into a disk (not too thin). Bake in oven according to package directions. After they've cooled, use the paint pen to draw the runic letters onto the stones. As you write each rune, say its name. Once they are dry, bless them. * Remember to make more than you need. I was able to make 30 stones out of the small Sculpey package. You'll need extra because stones can break with a lot of usage! * |
| Blessing Rune Stones With the stones laying before you, center yourself on the energy you want to bestow on the stones. Then say something like: Spirits surrounding I call to thee Bless these runes That I may see |
