Music For Computer RPG Game
(Endless Dreamers Part 1 - Desert Rose )
The game is divided into four parts. Each part of the game has a different setting and
takes place in a different world, but still continues from the previous part (I'll explain
this better in the post I will make on the forums). "Part I: The Desert Rose"
takes place in a western-type world, and a gothic-type world. Most of the music in Part I
will be have a desert feel to them. The characters in the game also have themes, but there
are not that many characters with themes in part I (only four). The Characters are
as follows: Abel Sawyer - He acts tough, and is kind of a loner. But inside he is really intellgient (this shows when the player can see what he is thinking at times). He has the tendency to rush into battles, regardless of the consequences, and has a heart of gold. He never thinks twice about helping someone in need. He never talks about his past, but only because it is so upsetting for him to recall it. His theme should be slow, strong, and sad. It should also have a "marching" feel to it. Leona - A major loner. She is Abels apprentice in the art of being a Tirador. Tiradors are highly respected gunfighters that roam the land in which Part I takes place. She never talks to anyone but Abel, and even then she doesn't say much. She just came to Abels door one day and demanded that she become his apprentice. A real enigma. Her theme should have a piano for the main tune. It should also be a bit slow. She is the main character for much of the game, so her theme should be something that you wouldn't get tired of hearing... Remegio Farenn - A little boy Leona comes across on her journey. It is a bit comedic because she is such a loner whereas Remegio is a talkative little kid. But Leona takes care of him nevertheless, and the boy turns out to be much more than he seems... His them should be joyous, almost like a tango and a waltz. It should go at medium pace, not to fast or slow. And the theme should also be aplicable to an adult as well, due to the fact that Remegio is very amture for a 6-year old boy. Enrike Blitz - A simple-minded brute that lives in the gothic-type world. He is mildly-retarded, but a very kind and loveable character due to that. The best character association I can think of for him would e Larry in "Of Mice and Men". His theme should have a dopey feel to it, as well as being a theme that is fit for a big brute. - Ray Farenn |
