Kadaena, The Graveyard, et al

(with thanks to Romaldir)

Bandur and Krestel were both very powerful. They were brothers, and if I'm not mistaken lived on Liabo [One of Elanthia's moons, if you didn't know. ~ Amerlise]. However, Gosaena (in the ice-age, Kadaena) persuaded Bandur into following the powers of Thralldom. (basically, undead muddlin'). He promised his soul in return for incredible powers. He ruled with evil hand over all of Elanthia as supreme king, but his promises and sacrifices to Gosaena were making him mad. in a fit of madness he killed his beloved brother who fought for his own home that was being invaded by Bandur's undead minions. Anyway, later he felt sorry, and built a huge burial mound for him. To this day, you can find ghoul masters on top of that there burial mound. Krestel's sons fought bravely but fell, and in honor of Krestel, even though Bandur hated them, he placed them near, too (in the skellie area is a statue for them.). The graveyard was then built, the mummy and tomb wight area. The tomb wights actually reside just below the burial mound. He never got in the burial mound; he had it built by golems. When it was his time to perish - there's actually loads of stories about how he lost a very big battle, and was half-mad and almost dead because of his efforts in battle and gushing wounds - anyway, he ran into the area currently full of mummies (thats all of his soldiers - the previously live ones that fought for him that is, now all cursed.); he said the words "Kadaena Throk Farok" [Translated from the Iruaric, "Kadaena, fobidden guardian" ~ Amerlise] , and made the final sign. Promptly the arch wight area was created and he was frozen in ice in the middle of it.

Since then, Gosaena's support left her and now she is a little-known goddess, and Luukos is controlling much more of the undead population of Elanthia. They are not opposed to each other, and some argue that Luukos and Gosaena are the same persons, but different in appearance. [I don't buy that, but hey.. ~ Amerlise]
