Career

Aug 08 2003- I enlist in the United States Marine Corps with Rusty Warfield and Ryan Cates at RSS Reno under the hand of SGT T.G. Horan. He starts us in the right direction for a career in the Marines.

June 28 2004- The three of us set out for Recruit Training at MCRD San Diego.

Sept 24 2004- Rusty and I graduate from Recruit Training with none of the expected special honors.

Oct 4 2004- Rusty and I go to the School Of Infantry at Camp Pendelton, CA.

Oct 14 2004- Ryan has arrived at the School of Infantry and we all pick-up as part of Bravo Co, Infantry Training Battalion.

Dec 12 2004- We graduate from ITB and I am merritoriously promoted to Lance Corparal for finishing third in a class of 187 and am also on the Commanding Officer's Honor Roll.

Jan 4 2005- Rusty and I go to our new MOS schools after a decision to move to Tucson, AZ. I go to MCCSSS Camp Johnson, NC,

to attend Enlisted Supply School and Rusty goes to Fort Leonard Wood, MO, to go to Engineer Equiptment Opperator's School. Cates goes to Hawaii for pre-BRC.

Feb 11 2005- After 140 hours in the classroom I graduate from Supply School as a 3043 Supply Administration & Operations Clerk. I Recieve merritorious mast as well as the "Motivator Award" for my performance as a squad leader at the school.

Feb 12 2005- I check into Co "A" 6th Combat Engineer Support Bn 4th FSSG (now 4th MLG) in Tucson, AZ.
