Jesus loves us even after all the years we have abused and neglected Him. What? Yes you read it right. He continually forgives our abuse of Him. Not believing fully in Him could be construed as abuse. He repeatedly complained about His followers doubt. Remember if we have the faith of a mustard seed we could move mountains. Or just giving Him a part of us to work with. Holding some back to do as we want to do. He continually forgives that abuse, our neglect of Him. Not keeping Him first in our lives. Or when He talks or pleads with us we turn a deaf ear. Or take Him for granted and never call on Him except when we want something. These are all forms of our abuse to the King of all Kings! Abuse and neglect? What can I tell you? Exactly what the, world in you, doesn’t want to hear. Consider the chief recipient of all abuse and neglect. Jesus and Him crucified. Jesus hung there between heaven and earth abused and neglected by man and God. Neglected by God the Father? Yes. When Jesus became the sin of all man God turned His back on Him. God the Father could not stand the pain of separation from His Son or to say it bluntly, Jusus was or had become sin and God has no part of sin. His beloved son became sin and God the Father can not look upon sin. Jesus beaten to the point of torn and bleeding flesh and crowned with a crown of thorns piercing His scalp to the bone. What can I tell you to help you get over all the pain? Look at Him. Follow The Way. Begin today and start a new comprehension of Jesus and His forgiveness. Forgive and forget it. Put it in His hands. Remember He said "get behind me Satan." Dear friend you can study pray and forgive but until you comprehend forgiveness in the light of, the darkness of the death of Jesus, Him bearing our sin, you can not expect a full delivery on the product, total peace and harmony with God in your life.
