| After a hugely successful career, and after rasing her two children, Audrey Hepburn then put almost all her energy into UNICEF, which is an organisation which helps children of the world who live in poverty. She became their International Goodwill Ambassador in 1988. |

| She did many field missons, which were both physically demanding and emotionaly demanding. She made over 50 field missions, to places like Sudan, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Venezuala, Ecuador, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia. In a way to raise much needed funds Audrey used her fame to help raise awareness in what was happening in those places. |
| After her death in 1993, her sons Luca Dotti and Sean Hepburn Ferrer created The Audrey Hepburn Memorial Fund to help continue to raise funds for the third world countries. To date, the funds have raise more than One Million Dollars. |
