New!!! Hear His Voice

New!!! I Want to Walk on Holy Ground

New!!!   Oer These Troubled Waters

Be Not Ashamed

As We Journey Onward

Sometimes, the old cross,
For Jesus, is very heavy to bear.
But, I find it fits just perfect,
For all who really care
About His sacrifice and
Abounding Holy love;
Somewhere up yonder,
Up beyond the sky above.

Journey onward soldiers of the cross.
He will do well with thee.
He gave His beloved life
For the likes of you and me.
Go that extra mile, into another
Country give to someone
Who knows not our Lord
And how He doth forgive.

I know the times gets hard
And you grow weary, there.
But, just turn it over to Jesus.
Kneel down to Him in Prayer.
He’s our living Savior.
He’s our all in all in this old life.
He said He would walk with us,
Even through all the strife.

I saw a dear lady go home.
She was put to rest, today,
Just as some of my dear ones
Have journeyed on that way.
I’ll see them again, tomorrow ...
There in Heavens’ Realm,
Praising our loving Savior,
Singing their favorite Hymn.

Like, 'I want to stroll over Heaven with You'
Was the one they chose
And all the strolling that they do,
There, Jesus with them goes.
So, let us not think of the comforts
Of today, but journey on.
Hence, one day, we, with all our
Loved ones, with Jesus, we’ll be home.

Alpha and Omega

These are the names which
Start and end all things here.
I read, in His word,
Of the water which runs clear.
If you’re athirst, given
Freely is the water of life
By our Lord and Savior,
With loving rife.

Alpha and Omega, the first and last,
The beginning and the end ...
Confess your belief in Him
And Angels He will send
To watch over thy life.
Danger and evil they’ll keep away,
As His children, his sheep,
He’ll keep for that fateful day.

In that glad morning,
When we will surely see,
A new Heaven and a new earth
Will come to be
And, behold, the tabernacle
Of God is with men.
He shall dwell with them and
They shall be His people, then.

He will wipe away all tears,
All sorrow, and pain.
He will be among us, make all things new;
Be as in Eden, again.
He will be our God and
We can be His people, anew.
Former things will be passed away,
As is the morning dew.

He will carry us away in the Spirit,
Away from all pain,
When we see the new Jerusalem
Descending from a mountain top, again;
(Knowing He is Alpha and Omega,
Our first and our last love)
Walking with Him
On the streets of gold,
Up there, in Heaven above.

A Letter to Jesus

Dear Jesus, I went down to the Altar today,
Knowing, in my heart, you’d washed my sins away.
It filled my heart with wonder, as I confessed I believe,
And, into Thy Glorious Kingdom, my soul thou did receive.

Please help me walk the path You set before me
And the lightness of Thy Kingdom let my heart see,
So I might go and tell the others what befell me that day,
As I received thee into my heart, these words’ I had to say.

Help me, dear Lord, to count my blessings, each and every day.
Thank Thee for the many wonders, in Thy word, You have to say
About the road to salvation; how there’s no other way
Except through the name of Jesus, when we accept and pray.

Help me to tell the others of Thy meekness and truly share
All the goodness of Thy Spirit, as we kneel down in prayer.
Help me, my lantern to keep lit each and every day;
Which unto others might surely light the way.

Keep my candle glowing, so the darkness can’t be near;
All brightness for my brethren, Thy sweet words to hear.
From now on ’til forever, on Thy bosom let me rest with zeal,
As I knew when I claimed Jesus as Lord. My soul Thou did seal.

He Is Ever Near

We met at an old cross.
I gave my heart and soul to He
Who is ever near, He who will always
And forever with me be.
Many times He hath watched o’er me,
Even when I did not know.
So, where e’er in life Jesus leads me,
With Him I will surely go.
He watches o’er the sparrow,
The lilies of the field every day.
So, why not us, too,
As we bow our head to Him and Pray?
He knows our hearts, yours and mine.
Are our hearts true, today?
Have we really took up our cross
And followed all the way?
To Calvary's Mountain,
We have to climb and faithfully be,
As He would have us looking
Through His eyes, the beauty to see.
He is ever near as we dream dreams,
Go through troubles that abound.
He misses nothing and as He sees us hurt,
Soon our hearts His love wraps around.
He watches His sheep e’er we go astray.
He molds our hearts as clay;
Watching and waiting for tomorrow
To bring us back to Him that day.
When we climb the mountain too high
And fall back again in sin,
We need just to get up and brush off sin
And take on Christ again.
He will ever be with us. He will never leave us,
This our King of Kings,
But as we go through the ails and troubles of life,
A way of escape He brings,
To let our hearts know safety,
As doth the sparrow in the Spring of the year,
And we know we can ever count on Him
Because He is ever near.

In His Shadow

As I go through this old world of pain and sorrow, I'd so like to be
Always in the shadow of my Savior, that others might see
How awesome it is to live for the Christ from up high above;
Who is ever there for us when we are in need of His great love.
When we walk with Him, we are in His shadow, following His lead;
To try to do good for our fellow-man by doing for all a good deed.
Jesus is ever with us. He knows our thoughts and our very way
Of how we live our life, as we walk in His shadow each and every day.
Come, go with me. It's so awesome to be beside Him all the Heavenly way,
To walk by the still waters and through the green pastures each day.
He loves us with a love with no limits. Did not He prove it upon a Cross
As He gave up His sweet life for us that we would not suffer the loss?
We will walk on streets of gold, built with His own true Holy love,
And we’ll eat of the tree of life ... as this Christ sacrificed Himself from above,
When He came down to take a crown of thorns around His dear head
And hang with thieves, upon that old rugged Cross, until He was dead.
Yes, Lord. Let me walk in The shadow of Thy mercy and awesome love.
Let me be there in Thy shadow, when you come to take me home above.
All the Glory of Thy kingdom will shine on those who love Thee, I know.
So, let me follow and be diligent, as in Thy great shadow I there go.

Humbled Heart

Have mercy, Lord, when my heart suffers from one who hates.
I will Praise Thee with all of my heart and meet Thee at the gates
Of a Kingdom of pure and abiding love, where I will rejoice and give all love
To the Father, through the Son; who is in our hearts and in Heaven above.

He will ever hearken to our call, turn back our enemies from our life,
And let not us be weary; going all alone through this world of strife.
Let our hearts be humbled in Thy sight. Let us be white as the snow,
That wherever here on earth you would have us do, we would so go.

Consider those who hate us and let not us stumble regarding Thy will.
But, let us be joyfully in Thy word, that our hearts Thou may fill.
Let not us put asunder the sweet words of Thine own true giving,
But to tuck away into our hearts, as the true token for living.

Bring back the days of yore, I would but can not ask of Thee, today.
For, I know it dawns closer to the sweet time when you will take us away
Into Thine own Kingdom, filled with precious things of joy and love;
Like the true waters of life, fills our being from up there with Thee, above.

Help us to lean not to our own understanding, but to reckon of the word of Thee,
That all may be well with our soul as, in its time, we’ll come into Eternity,
With the Trinity Three; with humbled and contrite heart to Thy Holy Son,
Knowing inside our hearts, this sweet Savior in the true and only one.

If I’m Not Here

If the glory of the sun rises tomorrow and finds me not here with thee,
Do not shed so many tears of sorrow. For, soon together, again, we’ll be
Walking streets of gold (picking twelve manner of fruit from Gods own tree).
So, wipe away the tears and think of the journey I’m on. Be glad for me.
No more tears or sorrow, no pain to bear there then, which doth His word say
He said He’d prepare for us a place and it's there we’ll be everyday.
Maybe the mountains we can scale, to see the snow-caps on high,
Or maybe there are valleys green, which our Savior will walk with us nigh.
For, He’s the Lily of the Valley. He’s the Bright and Morning Star.
He’s the King of Kings, who saved us as we were wandering off afar.
He knows our loves in each others hearts. I’m sure it's written down somewhere
In the glory of tomorrow, which doth rest in His wonderfully Holy care.
He will gently keep you; wipe away the teardrops from thy loving face.
For in the Glory of tomorrow, we’ll see no more tears in that sweet heavenly place;
As we live in splendor with our Savior, who died upon an old cross,
That we, who will one day join the other, will never suffer loss.
For in this world of life and death, true love is never really lost;
As it's held in the heart of ones who loves us, at our loving Savior's cost.
He gave His life freely, that you and I might always truly be
Able to love each other and we can always search inside our heart to see.
So, if the Glory of the sun rises tomorrow and finds me not here with thee,
You to will come on soon? For through Him, we found the victory
In the lying down of His sweet life, that he might wipe away all our sin.
Then, with the promise of a home in Heaven, we’ll be together again.

Cling To the Cross

As I awoke this morning,
Fraught with news of the deepest despair,
I prayed and Jesus tells me to Cling to the Cross.
He is always there.
I know this is true.
I have been there many times before, you see.
For, it always lessens the burden
When we go back to Calvary.
The Blood is the purest.
It washes Nations of their every sin.
It will wash you and me, too,
Every time we bow our heads, again ...
Asking Gods blessings, asking Him
To restore us to His Kingdom, there;
Keeping His will in mind, as we go
Daily to Him in humble prayer.

Lord, help us cling to the old rugged cross;
Which held our Savior there,
As His blood flowed freely down the hill
To wash away our every care ...
That we might be partakers
Of His royal Kingdom in Heaven, o'er,
To worship our sweet Savior
And walk the streets of gold evermore.

So, cling to the Cross. The Master's there,
With all the love there could ever be.
There is nothing, on this old earth,
To open our heart more clearly to see ...
Than this, our Jesus, our King of Kings,
Our Bright and Morning Star;
Who will come and tug at our hearts
When we are wandering off afar.

His love is a true blessing, from above.
Let us Praise His name all the day,
Love each other, and help each other
In trials of life all the long, long way,
And support each other in all things of Christ
That we shan't suffer loss,
As we look upward, toward the Heavens ...
As we cling to the old, old Cross.

Farewell, One Day, to Pain

I’ve seen where people thanked God for being in pain.
I never understood, never thought I would, thought it was inane
Until I was brought down, with more than a frown. Pain, inside of me,
Brought me to my knees, asking, "Jesus, please keep me beside Thee."
I fully understand, that without the rain and storms in our life,
How would we ever know the good things from the strife?
So, I’ve ask God to use me, in all the ways He can,
More swiftly, to bring loving humanity to man.
Teach me, Oh Lord, to use my infirmities to help show others the way.
Though pain and sorrow may engulf me, there’s always a new day.
Maybe, in the morrow, I can put away sorrow and be with my King;
Trust in Him totally, know He is Holy and happiness He will bring.
Let me help all I can, while upon this old earth I do abide,
Knowing Jesus is with me and Heaven is just on the other side
Of the beautiful river that never runs dry. I believe Jordan is its name.
So, if it would help others to see more clearly, Lord, then let me bear the pain.
You know, it's only when we’re really in trouble or sorrow when we reach out
And talk to our Lord, trying to see His plan and what it's about,
We realize we haven’t been paying attention to our Lord at all;
Just leaving Him out of our lives, until pain strikes and then we call,
"Help me, Lord. I am so miserable. Why art Thou letting me down?" ...
When, deep down, we know He’s trying to make us Heaven bound;
Putting strength deep inside our heart, from Him never to part.
And, through pain and fear and all that’s here, Lord, I give Thee my heart.

Thy Kingdom Come

Lord, the trials and tribulations,
On this old earth, are hard to bear.
Thank Thee that, one day soon,
Thou will bring us to Thy Kingdom, there.
Though the hills and valleys are green
And alive, with beauty of Thy theme,
Let us, of the soon coming of Thy Kingdom,
Be in everyone's dream.
We love the beauty of the flowers,
The miracle of an unfolding rose.
Of the majestic opening of the petals
of flowers, everyone knows ...
That it was of Thy making;
Which was only a tiny part of Thine art
And a bigger one is of Thy Kingdom,
Coming into all Thy people's heart.
Lord, we know that the fashioning of each
And everything being is by Thy hand.
Wondrous art Thy works, Oh Lord,
In each and every land.
The rivers running swiftly.
The pines stand graceful and tall.
The Church bells ring on the Sabbath,
When the people come to call.
The sparkling of the stars and the moonbeams
That seem close enough to touch,
The hills and forests have about them;
An awesome wonder we love so much.
Let all things be of Thy Kingdom
That's here, on earth, each and every day.
And, help us love and trust Thee,
Oh Lord, in every prayerful way.
Let Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done in all our lives.
Let us know that nothing escapes Thine eyes
And that with each of us you will surely go.
Though it be a thousand years,
Or should it be as tomorrow when we awake,
Let Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done ...
As to Heaven, our souls, you take.

Dwell On These Things

Down, in the deepest part
Of your heart and soul, dwell on this:
All the many blessings received
And in your heart happiness.

Because there is a Savior,
Who holds our soul in His hands,
Dwell on the many pleasures
To give heed to His demands.
Forgetting those things which art behind us,
Let us look on those before.
Press toward the mark of the prize,
Of the high calling from He whom we adore.
Dwell on the peace of God
Which passeth all understanding.
Set your heart on the joys
Of Gods' love, sweetly undemanding.
Finally, dwell on those things which are just,
Things which are honest, too,
And all things which are pure and lovely
And on the things which are true.
As our Savior would have us dwell,
These things we truly ought to do.
For, He is the prize of the highest calling;
Gave His own life for me and you.
So, if there be anything of good report,
Dwell on these, this lovely day,
As our Savior watches closely,
Guiding us along this hard old way.
Isn't that just like Him to put
Our needs out on front every day?
That's because He loves us so very much.
That's why He paved the way.
And, all the things we have seen or thought,
That are lovely and right, do.
For, Jesus is just waiting for our hearts
To be filled to the overflowing, too.
He waits for us to accept Him,
Meet Him on that beautiful shore;
Where Heavens' gates gladly awaits
To hold us, with Him, forevermore.

In Our Stead

On that day, so long ago, in our stead,
He walked, for you and me,
Up an old rugged hill, all the way
to the glorious Calvary;
To pay the awesome debt for all men
on earth, that sweet day,
As Jesus came down from Heaven
above, to pave the way.
How much He loved us
is so incredibly divine. We can know
(That, wherever we go on this old earth,
He is sure to with us go,
Once we give our heart and soul to He,
who came down from above,
To implant into our hearts)
all this wonderful, awesome, love.
To follow in His footsteps
would be a gift, of heartfelt love,
To render to our sweet Savior,
who came from high up above;
Walking in our stead for all the sinful
trail of years in our life.
Oh, how it must have pained
our loving Savior, filled Him with strife.
But, He went the way. He saved the day
for all sin that ever was, or will be.
His love overpowered all things,
that He might save you and me.
In our stead, He walked, there,
to the old cross, never halting at all,
That we could come, through Him,
to the Father with only a call.
So, stay behind me Satan. My heart
and soul belongs to Jesus, divine.
For, in our stead, He gave all the love
there is to your heart and mine.
Not flinching, not regretting,
but onward went, each day He led
To take the punishment that was ours.
Our Lord went in our stead.

I Looked On Love, Today

‘Twas their wedding, today.
I looked at love, in the purest form;
As pure as a little babe
When, from mothers womb is, born.
I looked on love, today.
Happiness and joy did there abide;
As the husband proudly stood
Beside his lovely new bride.
I saw a miracle, truly born,
When I looked on love. today;
In the eyes and in the words
This lovely couple had to say.
The songs were magnificently trolled,
In a Godly fashion sang.
God, be with these loved ones
And happiness to their lives bring.
I saw a lady who had been lonely
And the gentleman the same way.
So, I took pleasure in God's care,
As I looked on love, today.
She marched down the aisle
Of your house, Lord, to go and be
The 'other half' of the man she loved.
In their eyes, one could see.
Lord, I Pray you’ll bless their union,
From now until forevermore;
Until they are in Thine own keeping,
There on Heaven's shore.
A little girl dropped rose petals in the aisle,
As a gesture of the bridal's way,
So we can all look back tomorrow
And say, "I looked on love, that day."
It was so quaint, so genuinely sweet,
And divine to truly be
In the presence of this loving couple,
Whose love one could surely see ...

And to live and love, daily,
All their happy and glorious, lifelong, way.
I am so happy for them
And so glad I was honored to look on love, today.

Dear Mama

Mama, we wanted to write to Jesus
To deliver a message to you,
Of how much you are missed here,
in all the things we set out to do.
Remembering you brings back a sadness,
Yet a smile to light our face,
As you were so wonderfully kind and gentle
And so very full of Grace.
We talk often of your personality,
How you could make us laugh with glee.
Or, maybe you would tell of the times
When you were young and free ...
As a little bird, there in the hills of Tennessee,
When you were so sweet and mild ...
Living with grandparents, as you lost your mom
When you were a child.

You learned to be a good mother at a young age,
And you adored each one;
From the first of each loving daughter
And every wonderful son.
We remember the joy of visiting you, Mama,
The dinners you would cook;
The best cooking ever. We should have
written you recipes and made a book.

The grandchildren miss you, too.
We all await to see you in Heaven, there,
Along with Papa and other loved ones gone,
as we talk to them, too, in Prayer.
I know you are happy there mama,
I can almost see the sparkle in your eye,
Just wait o’er the way for us and one grand day
we’ll meet you by-and-by.

I am writing for your son and me,
The one you knew I'd always adore.
He misses you so much, Mama,
I'll always try to make him happy and more ...
As we wait to see you and Papa, again,
There, in Heavens realm,
With Jesus as Master of the ship we’ll be coming on.
For, you see, He’s at the helm.

Mama, I'll See You Again

She's Mama. She was my mother.
But, she is here for Mother's Day no more.
Though, I'll go see her, again,
When God brings me to that wondrous shore.
She will look even more beautiful.
I can see the smile upon her face
As she awaits, knowing that, one day,
We'll come to that beautiful place.
I'd tell you, once more, how much I love you, Mama,
How I hated to see you go.
But somehow deep inside my heart,
I believe you will already know.
You taught us about Jesus,
Told us to read His word well, every day.
So, when I see you again, I will tell you
That you were right, all the way.
I was beside you when you left.
'Tis true to say I was overwhelmed at the sight.
'Twas after I had talked to you, as in a coma,
I told you to go to the light.
I couldn't bear to see you suffer anymore.
You had paid your dues, here, on earth,
When you went to the Altar, long ago,
And was born again of a new birth.
I could almost see the Angels carrying you home.
So peaceful was your face,
As though you were crowned in Glory,
Covered in the purest and finest lace.
You were always so gentle;
From your mouth, never a harsh word.
But when you hugged and thanked me,
It was the sweetest voice I'd ever heard.
I will say 'Happy Mothers Day'
In that glad morning, when I see you there ...
Tell you how much I've missed your sweet voice
And how you'd smooth my hair.
It's been a long time now, Mama.
Sometimes, from you I feel so far away.
But, I'm asking Jesus, Mama, to tell you
I said to have a very Happy Mothers Day.

Lord, Let It Be Me

O'er this life of traveling
This old world through,
Lord, help me be one who is watching
For Heaven, coming with Thee.
Let me help be your eye,
To see all the divine mercies to give,
And let me be your heart,
That I may readily and truly forgive.
May I be your loving hand, to help
The sick across the street of life?
And maybe, I could have your eyes,
To see the goodness instead of strife.
Lord, let me be your mouth,
To speak truth and tell of Heaven, there,
And the goodness of Thy glory,
That I could tell all how to bow in prayer.
One day, if I could be your ears to hear
The prayers of the weary and sad,
That they may be uplifted,
Looking at Heaven, and be so very glad ...
Maybe, if I could borrow just a mite
Of Thy Holiness, to spread all around,
And a touch of your goodness
That it could always, in this world, be found ...
If I could borrow your own halo,
So I could make all the world shine, as one,
With Thy brightness of thy Loving nature
Of Gods own dear Son ...
Then, it would be the divine happiness
Of all the wisdom I could ever know,
Which I know is just a silly dream -
As I am still here on earth, below.
But if it could be, I'd so like to have
Your love inside this heart of mine,
So I might strew it all over the world
And all way up to Heaven divine,
Let me have Thy meekness, that I would
Ever turn the other cheek for Thee
And, Lord, give me a piece of Heaven,
that I may ever Thy servant be.

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers day, dear God!
I pray from each child you'll hear today,
To thank you for the many Blessings
And to help us on our Heavenly way.
We thank you for your love
And for giving you dear Son upon a Cross,
That your children, here on earth,
Could choose Him and never suffer loss.
We know Thou gave a portion of Thine own self,
As Ye are the Trinity three;
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
One day, let us be there, e'er with Thee ...
That we may give all glory and honor
To Thine own self forever and ever.
To claim any glorious thing for our own,
In this old world and far beyond, never.
Happy Fathers Day, my Father.
I'm so very glad you love me so true.
Had it not been for Thy loving Son, Jesus,
We'd have not a chance to be with you ...
To have you make us safe upon Thy bosom,
As with her chicks doth the mother hen.
And, though we run and scatter every now and then,
You take us back again.
I know, Thine own Son, Jesus, must tell Thee often
Of His own divine sweet love,
As ye sit on the golden Throne, there in Heaven;
Over Jordan's banks above.
Help us to serve You, Oh, my Father, above.
Help us to make, as eiderdown,
A humble plea of Thee ... to make for us,
Of our love to Thee, a little Crown.
As a symbol of our love for our dear Father,
Over there in Glory, this day ...
Unshed melodies inside our hearts, forever,
'Til we meet Thee to stay ...
Melodies of mercy you have given,
To each and every single one, this way.
So, we are wishing to Thee, our Father in Heaven,
A Very happy Fathers Day.

Who Shall Separate Us?

Who shall separate us from the Christ, whom we so love?
It is He who lived and died and arose to His Father, above.
It is He who makes intercession for us, as He loves us so much.
Who can be against us, if He is with us, with His loving touch?
We know for those who love God, all things work together
For His purpose, now, on this old earth and in Heaven, forever.
Lord, let Thy Spirit make infirmities for our hearts each day,
When we are crushed inside and know not how to Pray.
With groanings that cannot be uttered, as we sit and weep,
Lighten our hearts, Oh Father, e'er and e'er our souls to keep.
In all things, let us be more than conquerors, through Jesus above,
And for Thy sake, let us be killed all the day long for His love.
For, I am persuaded that neither life, nor death, nor Angels, or power,
Nor principalities, or things present can keep us from the Tower
That He went to build two thousand years ago and to come again,
To receive us unto Himself that, with His love, we shall have gain.
Neither height nor depth, nor any creature will be able to separate us
From the abiding love, that we, as Christians have in our Lord Jesus.
For He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Blessings and peace He brings
To fill our souls with His glory, to make our hearts to ever sing.
