Summer Time... |

A family holiday is ok but you don't get the same enjoyment out of it as you do when you take a week out with your close friends. This was our holiday last year for just four of us.
That's a picture of where we went, courtesy of a box of fudge I bought my dad! I forget which house we stayed in for the week but it was a perfect place to spend a holiday. We had our own boat and barbeque and a kid next door who did nothing but run up and down the garden shouting... |

The house was meant to sleep six which meant two of us got double beds all to ourselves, that would be me and Martyn! Chris and Mark shared a twin room but they didn't complain once. Well maybe a few times... But that was mostly about rowing in the pouring rain, which Martyn and I actually developed quite a taste for! When it started raining while we were out one time, we took Chris and Mark home then went straight back out! |

Everyone's played Scrabble before, it's a wordlwide thing... What most people haven't done is tried it as a drinking game! Needless to say we have and this picture was the result! Scoring included double and triple word scores by other players, scoring over 50 points or under ten and a few trigger words that you won't find in the dictionary... Martyn lost by over three and a half pints! |
