This interpretation of Queen Amidala's ensemble worn to address the Galactic Senate has been over two years in the making.
The utmost care has been taken to acquire the most appropriate fabrics and materials.
The custom design incorporates the ability to adjust the length of the dress to accommodate the Queen's continuing growth spurts.
Several fabrics are layered to create the opulence and depth behind a thousand or more glass beads and layers of golden ornamentation hand-sewn in intricate patterns on the bodice and sleeves of the dress.
Both tiers of the dress are completely hand-pleated.
The rich, velvety textures of the coat are all hand-sewn.
The coat's collar and cuff treatments were created using layers of fabrics, specialty yarns and gold thread.
Both the dress and coat are fully lined.
The custom headpiece is constructed from a wide variety of materials and is sewn together for durability.
