TLK Review Service is a review service striving to improve the quality of service to companies who send out products or offer services to be reviewed. We feel companies will feel more comfortable sending products to a smaller company and confident they are going to receive the services promised to them. As a former reviewer for Focus Group Review (Formerly Editors Choice, now out of business) I have personally experienced the frustrations of lack of communication and assistance when I needed help. This is more frustrating for companies who are being asked to send out a product or offer a service but can not get in contact with the company or individual requesting it. Our goal is to provide quality and promised reviews, not to see how many forms we can sell !!

Here is how our service works. The review is compiled of the opinions of two people using and testing the product or service and compiled into one review summary. All products are reviewed for a 10 day period. We will also do follow-up reviews on all consumer products. Effective July 2003, these products will be re-evaluated six months and one year after receiving the product. We are doing this to give consumers a better idea of how a product has held up after a longer period of use. Reviews for services and local events are written within 24-48 hours.

The reviews are posted on this website, Epinions(see info below) and a copy is mailed to the company along with a letter of acknowledgement and thanks. (How many companies and/or individuals actually thank you for your product let alone actually write the review ?).  

We review Books (Audio also), Consumer and Computer Products, Local Events (Ball Parks, Amusement Parks and other local area attractions) Movie and Live Theater, Resorts and Bed and Breakfasts, Fine Dining Restraunts, and Music Selections.

Sorry due to the nature and set up of our service we are not hiring reviewers.

Reviews are also placed on www.epinions.com !!!!  I have an account on epinions (My name is Frosty772 on the site) and will also be placing reviews on epinions in addition to this one so companies can get more exposure on the products that have been sent to us and have been reviewed.  Unfortunately, I may not always be able to place a review I have done on their site.  There must already be an existing category for a product to be reviewed. Reviews I am currently unable to place on their site maybe posted on a future date (I post all completed reviews here regardless).  Reviews that are placed on epinions will be marked with a * next to the link. Not only does epinions offer reviews on a variety of things such as products, events, music and much more, they also offer links to other sites for purchasing products of interest.
