It has been shown to be a true neuromusculoskeletal disease, and NOT a manifestation of Fibromyalgia. It often occurs without Fibromyalgia, and MUST be treated differently. Consider this page to be a dedication for all who suffer from this invisible "syndrome" and a possible start to a new beginning. This page is but the first step in our Fight for Awareness and more Research for all of us!

So many suffer with the pain on a daily basis. Our flare ups can last any where from a day to months. In trying to regain some sense of our pre fibro selves we often find ourselves slipping back into a flair and starting from square one. Some things that will set us back include: added stress, a simple injury, a change in the weather, even a simple car ride, the list is endless.

My dear fellow "Fibromites" and my brothers and sisters, who also suffer from Chronic Fatigue/Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, Chronic Myofascial Pain, and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, it is time to share our stories, our wants and our needs. It is time for us to be able to go to a doctor, hospital, clinic, etc., and receive the respect we deserve! Not the "rolling eyes" of the same doctors that we put our trust in. It is time, dear friends, for our families, co-workers, employers, and the public to realize our fight. The fight we go through every day, hour by hour, minute by minute. It is time to let our voices be heard!!

Our goal? On the next page you will find information on what we believe will be a start of a new beginning for us all. Be assured that our goal is to be achieved in the most professional, and peaceful manner. No radical behavior will be allowed!! We all know of all the horrific diseases out there, and I am in no way stating that our affliction can or should be compared to them. However, just because we suffer an invisible disorder does not mean we have to remain silent. Doctors who treat us with understanding want more research also!! So it is not just those of us who suffer from Fibromyalgia and other related disorders. The doctors and therapists also need our help in order to treat us more efficiently!
