Mission Statement |
The Speakers Bureau is a free service that provides local community groups, businesses, and organizations with knowledgeable, skilled speakers to help them achieve their goals, while enabling Toastmasters members to benefit from opportunities to give presentations in a variety of settings. |
We Can Help |
The Speakers Bureau provides speakers for events in the North Pinellas County including Palm Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin, Oldsmar, Ozona and Tarpon Springs. The Speakers Bureau acts as a clearinghouse, helping organizations make contact with talented speakers who can fulfill their needs. Speakers are not paid for their services. The Speakers Bureau is Toastmasters way of giving back to the community. Some speakers provide presentations, training or seminars as part of their normal business activities and they do charege for those services. These individuals provide this free service as a way of giving back to the community, as well as to promote goodwill toward their business. You are free to contract with individuals as you see fit. |
Speakers & Topics |
All members of the Speakers Bureau are Toastmasters that have achieved the Competent Toastmaster level or above. To achieve the Competent Toastmaster level, a Toastmaster must complete a minimum of 10 professional speeches and learn the importance of using body language and voice to effectively deliver a message. Toastmasters join the Speakers Bureau to further develop their communication skills by speaking before non-Toastmasters audiences. |
