Like a match made in heaven, I eased my way into the group Christ or Die during the month of July 2005. They are a Christian group based in the surburb of Mabelreign in Harare, Zimbabwe. These guys had been on my heart for a long time and I really wanted to help them to develop, in fact joining them was the last thing on my mind. However, as we got to know each other better in the various places in which we meet, strong relationships were formed and before I knew it, joining the cause was the natural way to go on my part.

The vision which the group has is huge , incorporating the numerous gifts, talents and abilities which we possess as a combined force. Using the medium of art, fashion, music, dance and entertainment, we hope to subvert our country's youth culture, and challenge mindsets with our Kingdom mentality. The mission statement reads, "To help young people discover their purpose and unlock their destinies," words that highlight the struggles that each member has faced as we have abandoned societal pressures and began to pursue God's call on our lives..

We walk our talk, and are committed to ministering life to the next generation: Recently we attended and sang at the Youth Breakthrough Conference hosted by Faith Ministries on the last Friday of July. It turned out to be a very eventful evening. We have also embarked on a film project in order to release our creative energies more fully. At a recent strategy meet that we had, we discussed the way forward and great things are in store as we continue to act on our ideas and seek first the Kingdom of God. A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step... Watch this space for more.
