Site Updates and Sources and Extra Parts
Site Updates:
January 19, 2001
Several new pictures have been added to the
before page. I have a really good set of pictures showing the rust before we started the restoration.  After we got deeper into the restoration, we ended up just replacing the whole body from the firewall back.  I wish I had some pics of the body of the flat bed trailer it came from Arizona on.  I may try to get some pics from the truck driver and put them on the page too. I also added this page to the web site.

Today I installed the new rear shelf.  I added new rear speakers and a third brake light as well.  If the weather is good next weekend I hope to tackle the new headliner installation.  I also finally got around to snapping a pic of the carpet I installed a couple of weeks ago.  You can see all this new stuff on the
Interior page. I have also updated most of the other pagesas well. I have added several new pictues to my Other Rides page too.  Take a look and let me know hat you think.

Finally I have found a few moments to update my site.  It has been a long time since my last update and I have made tons of progress in that time.  I have finished the interior, including the installation of a hidden CD player stereo in the glove box.  I have installed the seats and the headliner.  You can check out new pics of my interior on the
Interior page.  I have also sprayed the wheel wells and frame with rubberized undercoating.   I sprayed the trunk with spatter paint and sealant.  The biggest change I have made is the installation of my new wheels.  I just put on a set of American Racing Torque Thrust "D"'s.  They look awesome and really make the car look tuff.  I added some pics of the Malibu with here "New Shoes" on my Main Page.  Stay tuned for more updates.  She has been to the shop for a tune up and installation of front and rear Hellwig anti-sway bars.  Let me know what you think ,and if you want to see more pics added, just let me know.

Today I attended the 2002 National Monte Carlo Owners Association
(NMCOA) convention in Nashville, TN.  I took lots of pics of the 73-77 Monte Carlos that were there.  I also snapped a few of the 2000 or newer models and some of the "Intimidator". This was the concept model of the current model of the Monte Carlos.  To go directly to the pics click here!!
I hope so add some pics of my Malibu's trunk soon.  I started to finish it off today with some new carpet.  I will udate the site again when I get it done.
