10:51pm Chester was still outside Hughes, increasingly frustrated as more and more drunk people flowed in from South Side, each one looking more pale than the next. He knew he was running out of time; if water wasn't returned soon, people all over campus would be sick, and sober people like him would spend the whole night cleaning it up. And that simply cannot be. Chester, Shannon, Rod Steele, and William the Bloody sat around, watching, waiting to come up with something useful to do. "They could drink their own pee," suggested Chester. "Ew, gross," said Shannon, cringing. "Hey, whatever, it's good for you," said Rod Steele. "Bloody hell," muttered William the Bloody, as he lit a cigarette and stared grimly into space. Just then, The Emperor stumbled shirtless out of the building, muttering to himself. "We should all drink and be happy, not sick. I can't let all those people get sick, I want us all to be happy," he said as he staggered towards the amphitheatre. "Should somebody go after him and put him to bed?" Shannon asked, frowning. "Whatever, he's a big boy, he can handle it," said Rod Steele, taking a drag on his cigarette. Chester was just watching, feeling a desperate need for a plan (to get the water, not to take care of The Emperor). Just then, his phone rang. He walked off to answer it. "Scribido?" he answered. "Show me the power, child," said the voice on the other end. "Oh, its you," Chester said. "I'd like to say, that I'm down on my knees today," said Deep Throat. "You're so weird," said Chester, with a laugh. "Gives me the butterflies, gives me away," he continued. "Oh, god," said Chester, who was, at Deep Throat's words, having an epiphany. "Til I'm up on my feet again." "Whoa, suddenly I understand everything you've said to me!" Chester said excitedly, starting to change into the Pearlman disguise. "I'm feeling outshined, outshined, outshined, outshined." "The Squirrel Queen in in Hughes! How could I not know before? Thank you, Deep Throat, I owe you one, dude." Chester ran away excitedly, in full superhero mentality, ready to save the day. Next Previous The Adventured of Pearlman |
