1. The new version of "Vampire Hunter D" is in the works and almost finished!!! I have seen pics from the movie and they look awesome! I've also heard of a trailer going around on some fansubs but have been unable to see it so far. This is looking to be a phenominal anime and I can't wait until it comes out. I will keep you posted if I see anything else.

2. "Princess Mononoke" is still being released here in the U.S. but it is still pushed back until at least October. Keep your eye out for it, you don't want to miss it!

3. is looking for any artists who want to have their work displayed. It can be based on any anime original or otherwise, and the top pick of the month will be put up in the Main Menu next to the "Fan Art" entrance.

4. Attention Utena fans!!! The "Revolutionary Girl Utena" Movie has been announced and is being made as we speak. No information as to what exactly the storyline will be as of yet, but it should be centered around Utena's conflicting love life.

9/7/99

1. Well, Masume has finalized his A(nime)W(eekend)A(tlanta) convention trip! Yatta!!! Nothing but pure anime for three days straight!!! Now, all I gotta do is save my cash, (after I plop down 300 bucks for a Dreamcast!) and you fellow Otaku will be seeing plenty of goodies pop up on this site, maybe even a contest! I'll keep you all informed of the countdown...

2. Hmmmm, seems are good buddies at Gainax are in a bit of trouble. The President of Gainax is being brought up on charges for embezzlement. He supposedly withheld a lot of cash from a lot of people. I'll keep an eye out and let you know more of the details as I get them.

3. The Fan Art contest is still on! I know you guys got some good work, so start sending that stuff in! I was even considering giving away my fan subbed copy of the first two episodes of Escaflowne to the best one. Hmmmm, interest you?

1. Only 4 more days until AWA!!!! Wohoo!!! Masume is currently trying to aquire a press pass for the event, so he can bug certain people for interviews perhaps, or just get to see really cool stuff!! I have my wallet all ready for the dealers room, and hopefully will be bringing back something I can post here. Yatta!!!!
