Welcome to page 3
I have a lot of work to do and I plan on documenting it, it just seems I havent done much ,  But I have painted the trunk  with the factory spacle paint. I have stripped and painted the underbelly. I have  fixed, primed  and installed both fenders, installed the cocktail shakers         and some misc..   If you arent aware of the cocktail shaker??   The 67 convertible had a wobble problem at high speeds and the 68 added very heavy weights to all 4 corners. Each one is at least 40 lbs.  I will get some pics and fix this soon..
    THE FENDERS ARE ON
Banged out some dents on the front valence. A few spots to fill
3/15/02  Here are a few pics. I am trying to get to work on the car now. I am at the mindset now to just do something , one little thing at a time and finish by july 2003.  I HOPE
Is this cool or what. I would love my engine to look this good. Different color but soon.
I bought a money tree 2 years ago and it still hasn't grown any money. I bought it just to fund the car too. Oh

well.
11/3/02  It has been a while but hopefully I am back.  I installed all the rear end componente, leaf springs, shocks, brakes.  I replaced the bearings and seals in the rear end. The car actually rolls on 4 wheels now.  I just got all my engine parts back and will be assembling that. I had the cylinders bored, new pistons. I had the crank turned and had everything ballanced.
I also had a new garage built and the car will be moving in soon. Anyhow here are a few pics.
BLOCK IS BORED  AND READY
NEW PISTONS, SEALS, GASKET SET, RINGS
8/10/03   Well here we go.  The new garage is up and the car is in it.  I installed all the brake lines, gas lines and new tank.  The  fuel tank was badly dented.  I went through the wireing harnesses and got them in. I think I am about 500 bucks from turning the key.  I have to start it by the end of summer because I cant let $3500 and a gazillion hours of labor freeze up and rust internally over the winter. Running it during the rest of the restoration will be nice.
