PAGE 2 OF PROGRESS
3/15/00              I PAINTED PARTS TODAY   I went to a sale at ALs auto they were having a bucket sale because they are changing to Schucks.  I got a lot of primer and lots of other stuff.  Too much to mention on this site..  50 $ jack was in my 5$ bag though. I sand blasted and treated the parts with metal etch, and primed and painted.
3/20/00          I added more pics

SANDBLASTING AND PAINTING PARTS
4/15/00   I seem to be in a LUL  I am painting parts and there seems to be a lot of them. I am being patient and promise lots of pics of the individual parts. I must add though.  If you guys and gals think I may be a little slow, then get out here to Seattle and help me!!??   I'd hate for this car to turn into a Tempest by mistake. HaHa....  I must work and make more $$ to feed to the car.  I have a Pressure washing and painting business that seems to keep me busy this time of year. I will find time for the car though.
4/22/00     I sealed the seams on the firewall today and found out that my frame is TOAST. There is a twist in it and it was fixed before. OUCH  I could use it but I will find a good true frame.
5/12/00 I put the first part back on my car.   I learned a lot about proper ways to do things    I have the firewall and floorboards painted  and starting to assemble.  Gaskets and seals are the point of view now.  There is a big car swap meet in Monroe Washington the 20th and 21st of may 2000.   I am hoping to get seals and gaskets so I can put together the car.  More pics coming
5/20/00 I want to say to all you that have been watching this site  OUCH   I have a frame that is not fixable.  I have more pics coming bla bla bla   The frame is too far gone and I will find a straight one soon I hope  I have been painting and learning in the meantime
5/26/00 I went to the swap meet and it was a bust. Lots of stuff and I think when I know more of what I need it will be usefull. Firewall, dash and front floorboards are all painted. I ordered about 400 dollars worth of stuff from year one. Mostly gaskets and seals, bushings and a mastercylinder rebuild kit. Once these parts come in I will do some serious reassembly. Here are a few more pics and more coming as reassembly progresses.

FLOOR PRIMED & SEALED
7/04/00 I Have my new frame mounted and firewall and dash painted. I ordered more parts that I think I will need in the future. Here is a few pics to show my progress .  The new frame came from close to home. I was close to going 400 miles for it but I kept looking and one showed up about 40 miles away, in perfect, already painted condition, for 100 bucks. This is the old one . You can see the damage
FLOOR PAINTED  HEATER CORE BEFORE/AFTER
8/20/00 Well I finally got my springs and steering installed. I tried a spring compressor but with no success.  I am sure it is possible but I couldn't find the room.  I ended up jamming a 4 by 4 between the upper control arm and the garage door headder, then jacking up under the lower control arm, thus compressing the spring. Yes it sounds dangerous and it is, but I was very cautious and I am still alive. I got my medal blackening kit for nuts and bolts and that seems to work pretty well. Things should really progress now I hope. I will be installing the brakes soon and then I can turn to rebuilding the engine. I look forward to the change. Here are a few more pics.
FRONT END LOOKING BETTER
9/22/00 I am in a lul        Pay the taxes or  work on the car  ??  All the money I make goes to uncle  sam   any extra goes to the car.
10/29/00   I Backed the car into the garage.   It is time to do the rear end.  I am learning a lot about cars at this point. IE  Stripping old undercoating, brake lines, gas lines// where they go and so on.  I promise lots of pics soon.  OOHH  Digital cam    Nice xmas present??
7/19/01 It has been too long.  I just couldn't get motivated this year but now I feel I am. I have been collecting parts on Ebay though.   had the front fender wells and radiator support powder coated. I wish I would have know how really cheap it is to do, when you consider sandblasting priming and painting labor and materials and time. $225.00  Here is a picture of the front end now. I an currently working on putting new seals in the rear end and experimenting with  PORE 15.  Good stuff so far.
