| Tommy and Stefanie are both in their late 20's and currently reside in southern Georgia. For several years Stefanie has been volunteering in orphanages in Honduras and Guatemala around her school schedule. Tommy has been serving in the military for 8 years, and Stefanie in a Bachelor's Nursing program. In the summer of 2004, while Tommy was deployed to Iraq, Stefanie realized that two young girls at the orphanage, Astrid and Joselyn, were uniquely special to her. Stefanie told Tommy about the girls, and Tommy wanted to visit Honduras to meet these girls when he returned in the fall of 2004. |
