Tom's learning Khmer - a personal approach to the Khmer language.

Acknowledgements

I would like to express my gratiude to the following people for their kind support and assistance whilst trying to learn the Thai language.

Firstly, I would like to thank Phung for all the support, patience, guidance and continuous belief in me - despite my many brave, however not always pitch-perfect attempts of getting the Thai intonation right.

I would also like to thank Kristin for trawling numerous bookshops in Bangkok looking for Thai ABC books.

Many thanks should also go to the many street vendors and other people I have encountered in Thailand who bear with my limited Thai vocabulary and kindly point me in the right direction when neccessary.

Acknowledgements must also be made to Suphawut Wathabunditkul for his great help and advice with Thai translations, Thai script and Thai language related questions in general; his unprecedented literary endeavor Masterpiece Bilingual Translations - not to mention his tireless work for www.thai-language.com and, as such, being a great ambassador for the Thai language.

ขอบคุณมากครับ
