body against mine. Eventhough we’d only been apart for
less than 24 hours, it felt like years. Every second away
from him felt like an eternity, but right now I didn’t wanna
think about how it would be when he goes back to
Ireland… We still had two weeks together and we would
make good use of the time!
“I really think I need a shower and so do you!”, I laughed,
as we were cuddled up in his bed. It just hit me that I’d
been wearing the same clothes since the morning before and so had Bryan.
“I think you look and smell great anyway.” Bry said and
gave me a kiss on the cheek. I looked at him,
“That was just lame, cos I know I smell terrible and so do
you!”, I gave him a playful punch on the arm and went to the bathroom.
When I was done I found Bryan in the living room,
looking at a picture of him and me that was taken about
a week ago. He have his arms around me and both of us
look very much in love. I looked at him for a while as he
was smiling at the picture. How on earth could I even
consider breaking up with him? And the fact that I
actually did do it… I shook my head almost in disbelief and said,
“The bathroom’s free now, hun!” He put the picture down
and got up from the couch,
“I’ll just be a minute, don’t go anywhere…”, he whispered
in my ear as he passed me on his way to the shower. I
smiled and sat down to watch some TV while I waited for
Bry to finish. I flicked through the channels pretty fast and
established that nothing out of interest was on. Instead I
went out to the kitchen and I sat there reading a magazine when the phone rang.
“Can you get that sweetie?”, I heard Bry calling from the bathroom. “Hello?”
“Hi Heléna, it’s Shane, how’s it going?”
“We’re alright Shay, actually it’s never been better.”, I
said with a smile as I saw Bryan come out from the
bathroom with a towel around his waist.
“Guys, they’re back together!!”, Shane said to Nic and
the others and I could hear them cheering in the back. Then he said to me,
“Could you and Bry please come over here? Cos there’s
someone here, Nic says, you’d love to meet.”
“Who is it, then? Tell me!” People always tell me I’m a
very curious person and I guess they are right! “I can’t tell you! You have…”
“Bryan stop it, I’m on the phone…”, I interrupted Shay
cos Bryan now had his arms around me and softly
kissed the back of my neck, which he knew I love. He
stopped with a cheeky grin and I could hear Shane
laughing on the other end of the phone, “Haha, is Bryan distracting you again?”
“Yes! He is distracting me!”
“No I’m not! Don’t believe her! I haven’t done anything!”,
Bry said in a fake hurt voice, as his attention went back to my neck.
“I’ll better stop now Shay, but we’ll be over as soon as we can.
See ya soon!” I hang up the phone and turned around to
Bryan. He still had that cheeky grin on his face and said,
“We don’t have to go over right away, do we?”
“You never stop, do you?”, I said with a smile. But
eventhough I was really tempted to stay with Bry for a bit
longer I decided that we had to go over to Nic and
Rhiannon, cos I was really curious about the mysterious visitor.
“Now, go and put some clothes on and let’s go!”, I slowly pulled away from him.
“Yes mum! Right away mum!”
