Chapter 4
“Don’t worry! I promise you that you are gonna love
them, they’re very nice”, I said trying hard not to smile.
“You just met them and not only do you make plans for us
all to go out, you give them my homeaddress as well!!”
“Hey, hey Nic, take it easy. I know we’ve just met, but
please trust me on this one”. I gave her a hug and went to my room.
About an hour before the lads were coming to pick us
up, the three of us started getting ready; I tried my best
not to smile too obvious when Nic walked around
mumbling to herself and Rhiannon couldn’t help but
laugh at her sister. She wasn’t exactly thrilled by the
idea, but she handled it a lot better than Nic did. “Ding-dong”
The sound of the door bell echoed through the whole
house. I looked at Nic in an ‘aren’t-you-going-to-open-
that’ look, I guess she knew what I meant, coz she just said:
“Why don’t you let them in? After all they are your
friends…” I smiled at her and went down to open the door.
“Hiya Heléna! Nice to see you again”, Kian said and
gave me hug. I got a hug from all of them, but when it
was Bryan’s turn he just stood there, looking at me.
“Y…you… you look really nice…”, he stuttered.
“Thanks, so do you…” I could feel my cheeks turning red
again as I hugged him. That hug lasted a bit longer than
the others did, but of course I didn’t mind.
“Aherm… so, where are your friends?”
“Oh, I’m sorry…”, I felt quite embarrassed and let go of Bryan.
“Nic! Rhiannon!” Their face expressions were even better than I dreamt
of! They came down the stairs and when they saw the
lads, they froze. Their eyes were as widely open as their mouths.
“Nic, Rhiannon, there are some guys here I’d like you to
meet…” I introduced them to eachother and the lads
said ‘Hello!’, but the twins still didn’t move an inch.
“Are they ok?” Bryan asked me. He was standing right
beside and whispered it to my ear.
“Yeah, they’ll be alright soon. Y’know it’s not like Westlife
come and knock on their door every day”, I turned to Nic and Rhiannon again,
“Come on, guys, let’s go! We can’t go without you you
know, coz we don’t know where anything is, we’ll get soo
lost.” It finally seemed as if they woke up from their
coma, at least they moved a bit.
“Don’t worry ladies, we’ll take good care of you”, Shane
said and put his arm around Nicole.
“Exactly, we’ll give you a night you’ll never forget!”, Mark
agreed and put his arm around Rhiannon. As Shane and
Mark did this I could see that the girls slowly drifted away
again and I couldn’t help but laugh!
“So are we going or what?!”, Bryan asked as he put his arm around my waist.
“Sure, come on!” “Hey what about me?”, Kian said, “I don’t have anyone to
put my arm around…” Nicky went up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder,
“Well, since Georgina isn’t here…”, he said in a sexy voice.
We all laughed and went out into the night.
