Queens Park Supporters

The game played just around the corner from Hampden, gave some of the MISC players the chance to try and improve any scouts watching and if the half time team talk is anything to go by, Paul Dorrian will be making a move to take over the reigns at Man Utd when Sir Alex chucks it. Haha.
The game started well with the MISC dominating the first 20 minutes but failed to convert any of their chances. Parker creating most of the early chances was playing in an un familiar central mid role. Then came the moment that will haunt the ears of every one that knows Alan Coyle. After showing some signs of drunkness (oops I meant skill) Coyle recieved the ball and sent in a over ambitious cross, which must have caught the wind as it looked as it was going miles over, and somehow it looped over the keeper and into the top corner.
1-0 to the MISC and everyone thought the floodgates would open but to the Queens players credit they fought back well and through slack defending they went 2-1 up. A few crazy mix ups, including an Alan Taylor backpass which never reached the keeper and also a penalty caused by Parker were the cause of the goals. A change in formation was put into effect when S.Finlay took a sore one to the nuts. The shouts of "swallow them and get on with it" came. Mainly from Cannon.
Half Time: MISC 1 Queens Park 2
Alan Arthur proved to be the change needed and after coming on in the second half he totally ran the midfield. Straight after the break Colin Gray pulled the game level with a good toe ender which flew past the keeper. Gray was to go on to score another 2 well earned goals as well as a goal apiece from Alan Coyle and Neil (the stud) Cannon. The goal from Cannon was to totally confuse everybody, after being played through and being 1 on 1 with the keeper Neil decided to dance his way to the goal line. It seemed like an eternity before Cannon camly stroked the ball past the Queens Sub keeper.
Queens park scored another 2 in the second half with the latter being a great solo effort. In a game where Donga played 90 mins, Dougie played in goal, Slugger never flashed his anatomy, Neil Cannon showed of his Ballet skills and Pedro turned up late, never played and left at half time to go to the pub, the MISC showed the can play some good football.
Best men for the MISC: Slugger, Alan Taylor and Alan Arthur. Aswell as the show offs that scored. Parker would have made man of the match if he never went in a wee huff after words with Coyle and Donga.

MISC vs DMC
The match started promising with the MISC havng most of the early chances. But with their in ability to put them away
the MISC paid for it when DMC scored the first. Kyle Wilson had to come off injured in the first half due to broken toes
which probably occurred when he was egg chasing. DMC slotted home another before McGoo gave the MISC fans glimmering
hope of 2 wins in the one weekend. He had looked good for a goal especially in the first half when he cracked a 30 yarder, bound
for the top corner until the DMC keeper lept like a salmon to palm it over.

Straight from the kick off DMC made it 3-1, i think most of the MISC players were caught still celebrating and DMC were smart to
quickly regain the 2 goal lead. A couple more followed from DMC as the MISC heads started dropping Including a goalkeeping error which
lead to a free kick in the box after it was deemed Hutchison picked up a passback. The DMC player done well to smash the ball through
the MISC wall (which had more gaps in it than Shane McGowan's teeth).
Stu Clark came on for Marko and John McIntyre replaced Ronaldo Parker. Mr McIntyre showed some determination and it paid
of when he was felled in the box late on. Kev Hutchison slotting home the penalty. Another goal occurred right at the death but sadly
i turned away to have a wee chat with someone and missed it. Ah well.
