The hybrid car is a very reliable car.  They have 8 year 80,000 mile warrentys.  The hybrid gas engine hads the same maintence as a normal gas engine.  The flaw i found in the hybrid is that if the warrenty is up and the battery goes you will end up dishing out over a couple grand to fix this.  The cars prices are Toyota Prius- 20,810 Honda Civic Hybrid-  14,500 Honda Insight- 16,000
