The hybrid car consist of mainly the same parts that a gas powered car does.  The gas powered engine on the hybrid is much smaller, due to the fact it doenst need to have as much power.  The fuel tank also stores a lot less gas.  the hybrid car also has a generator that is powered by the gasoline motor to generat energy for the electric motor.  The hybrid car also has a lot bigger battery.  Due to the fact that is what powers the car.
