Learn To Cut Copy And Paste

Step 1

How To "Cut"

First you must "Cut" or "Highlight" the information you want to CC&P.

There are different ways to do this depending on the kind of information you are dealing with.

A Web Page or Image (gif, jpg, etc.)

While you are
"Looking" at the Web Page or Image
Hit your "Go To" Key on the Top of your keyboard.
Click the "Show Last" Button and the URL or "address" of the Web Site or Image will appear in the upper space.
"Hold Down" the Cmd Key and Tap the letter "A"

You have just "Cut" the URL for that Web Page or Image (gif, jpg, etc.)

A Sound such as a Midi or Wav or RAM, etc.

You must first "Click" on a Title or a Button to make the Sound play.
Sounds that play without you starting them can't be CC&P.
Once you "Clicked" on the Sound and you are
"Listening" to it play
Hit your "Go To" Key just like before.
Click the "Show Last" Button.
Hold down Cmd and Tap the letter "A".

You have just "Cut" the URL for that Sound

Text I

Such as an HTML Code, a Joke you got in an e-mail.
First Hit the "Find" Key on the Top of your Keyboard. (Not the "Go To" Key!! heehee)
Type in the "First" word you want to CC&P
Hit the "Return" Key on your keyboard.
Now that First word is "Highlighted"
"Hold down" the "Shift" Key and start tapping one of the small "Arrows" on your keyboard to highlight all the text you want to CC&P.
The "left" and "right" arrows will highlight (or "delete") one letter of text at a time.
The "up" and "down" arrows highlight (or "delete") an entire line of text all at once.
Once all the text is "Highlighted" You have just "Cut" that text.

Text II

Text in a "Text Box",with a cursor.
If you see a cursor, make sure it is blinking! If it is not simply Tap the "Space Bar" on your keyboard. This will wake it up!
Next "Hold down" the Cmd Key and Tap the letter "A".
Everything in that Text Box will be highlighted. Even text you can't see!
You have just "Cut" all the text in that Text Box.

Step 2
How To "Copy"
"Hold down" the Cmd Key and Tap the letter "C"
You have just "Copied" everything that you "Cut" (That means it was "Highlighted") in Step 1
Easy Huh!

Step 3

How To "Paste"

Place your cursor "exactly" where you want your "Copied" information to "Start"
Hold down the Cmd Key and Tap the letter "V"

You have just "Pasted" your information.

Click here to "Look" at a gif. While you are there Cut and Copy the URL of the gif. Come back here and Paste it in the Text Box. It should be the same as the URL above it.

Click here to "Listen" to a Sound. While you are listening to it Cut and Copy the URL of the Sound. Then Paste it in the Text Box. It should be the same as the URL above it.

Cut and Copy the text beginning with the little girl's name. Mary Had A Little Lamb.
Then Paste it in the Text Box. It should say

Mary Had A Little Lamb.

Here is some text in a Text Box.

Cut and Copy "All" the text even the text that's "hiding.

Now see if you copied "All" of it.
