The Web Masters Thoughts
Hello, I am Ron Myrick.   I started  writing a news letter about two years ago. It contained the adventures of  me growing up,  and also told of how life was so much different in the 1950's and 1960's than now. This I hope will lead my kids and grand kids to really know me . I want them to know my hopes and dreams that I had back then,
I also want them to know of  their ancestry, and to know the people that gave out of love never even expecting anything in return.  The people who had to work so hard, and grew old too quickly .  As I look back at pictures  made in the  30', 40's, 50's and 60's I can see a life much different than now. It was common for a neighbor to come spend Sundays just visiting.  The whole community would do things together and share.  You never had to lock your doors, The kids could be kids,  and no one even thought of hurting  them.  Sunday's were a special day of the week and you dressed up to go to church..  Children  had respect for grown-ups back then. You never even thought of talking back to them.
I hope you will enjoy  this website  and come to realize  its  not what you leave on this earth when you die  its what you have  left  in the hearts of the people who loved you..
