Clubs Editors

Checklist:

• Compile a list of all meds clubs (asap so you may allot your time accordingly)
• Suggestion: come up with a list using last year’s yearbook as reference to get an idea of the different clubs and their numbers
• Email everyone in 1st and 2nd year asking for clubs who would like to be featured in the yearbook to contact you
• Here’s a list we put together for you to start with:
• Medical Society, Rural Health Initiatives, University of Toronto
  International Health Program, Droopy Lid, Diversity in Medicine,
  St. Felix, Healthy Sexuality, Saturday Program, Chinese
  Canadian Medical Society, Greek Canadian Medical Society,
  Italian Canadian Physician Association, Blacks Canadian
  Medical Society, Medical Christian Fellowship, University
  of Toronto Medical Journal, Speaker Series, Functions
  Committee, Let’s Talk Science, Class Council, etc.

  Have a club contact and get a list of club members for each club

  Organize photo sessions with clubs and individual yearbook photographers

  and compile all clubs photos

  Assign specific pages for layout: editors and lay-out staff are responsible for page lay-outs.

  Manage your time according to deadlines

  Try to make your pages fit into the central yearbook theme

  For each club, should have a:

  Club Photo

  Short description of the club (i.e. you or the club organizer

  may write this)
