I was introduced to model horses through my best friend in Washougal WA, Bayley Miller. Due to her,
the constant exposure to horses forever instilled them in my mind. I discovered the hobby while typing
"Breyer" into a search engine one day. It lead me to Breyer's site, where I learned about customizing and
live showing. I attended my first show at the AZ Dollhouse's annual show. I was so excited, I never got a
first place, but I learned a lot, saw a lot, met the wonderful showers from Arizona and surrounding states,
and by the end of my day, I came away with 13 ribbons! I have come a long way in learning and showing
    my horses from that show.
Today I am one of the few in the sourthern part of the state who actively customize their horse's for
competition. It is my goal in the hobby to win as my dear departed friend would say "a cookie."  In other
words a Championship at the North American Nationals (NAN) for my work and my collection. (Recieved 2
champs for my collection and a top ten for my work in 05)
I'm proud to announce that although I've been actively customizing for three years (2002), I have also
recently have had the absolute honor of being able to paint for Kathleen Moody's Elite Artists. I have
had the ut most pleasure at being able to work on her resins for sale. Thank you so much Kathleen for
   the oppritunity.
More recently I've also been accepted as a member both in RESS (Realistic Equine Sculpture Society)
and Sarah Mink's Painters Program - I can't wait to get a chance to paint a piece from her! I have 2 taboos on their way!
