However, at the Empire's peak the Emperor was mysteriously assassinated. This at first led to distrust and unrest among the people and eventually among the gods. The Governing forces of the Imperial Order tried to maintain peace and order, but soon a great rift appeared between the cultures and the gods, and separation continued to grow. The Empire collasped in the following years, soon chaos replaced tranquility.
The gods blamed one another for the problems below and they began to fight amongst each other. Cities and towns within the cultures became divided between the different gods who favored them. They began to fight crusades with each other in the name of their gods. Entire towns were obliterated in the name of the gods. These were dark times for the people and the Imperial Order and its Empire was long forgotten.
Hope was lost until seven men, who recounted the old ways, forged together and formed an alliance. They pledged to restore the Imperial Order and its glorious Empire. To remake the utopia that was now just a memory to most. They called themselves the Remnant Imperial Order, they were the last hope for the people and the gods.
The Remnant began to gain followers from different towns and different cultures. However, many people and many of the gods opposed the Remnant and their cause. War was inevitable between the Remnant and its enemies. The war would take years and the battles would be the bloodiest man has ever seen.
We fight this war everyday because we are the Remnant Imperial Order, the last hope for man.
