"-Hi angel. Even after two and a half years, I still feel silly talking to myself, but I feel better when I leave. I saw your daddy yesterday, and a couple of days before, for the first time in over two years. Your cousin Manny was missing, and he was the detective bringing him back. I know, it still blows me away to think of him as a detective. Suits him though. Made him sure of himself, confident, strong. He was always strong but now, you actually can see it. He's as handsome as ever, and I still love him so much. I would give anything to take back some of the stuff I did, and one of them was to get on that horse. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't ask God to have mercy on me. I know I don't deserve happiness after what I did, but I'm only 24 years old, haven't I paid enough? I lost my daughter, the most precious thing in the world to me, I also lost Lucky, and I nearly lost Manny. Do you think you could plead my case to the man upstairs?
-I'm sorry I didn't know you were here"<
Elizabeth turned around and came face to face with Lucky, only inches away from her. She looked up to the sky and smiled.
"-You work fast baby
Elizabeth ran before he could catch her. She was feeling guilty about laughing in a cemetery, but she couldn't help it. She had to take her laugh whenever she could, because it didn't happen much. She sat in her car and watched as Lucky kneeled down where she was before he arrived, and he put something on the grave, but it wasn't flowers, it was something else. She was thorn between waiting for him to leave and go see what it was, or waiting for him to leave and follow him home. They had to talk, settle this game of cat and mouse once and for all, if he was going to see Manny from time to time.
*flashback*
"-WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS BRINGING THAT UP LUCKY? I MADE A MISTAKE, I KNOW! DON'T YOU THINK I WON'T HURT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?
Elizabeth ran upstairs and let Lucky in the middle of the Hardy living room. They never seemed to be able to talk anymore, never seemed to be able to just enjoy each other's company for the past 6 months, ever since Hope died. Elizabeth knew it was a terrible thing, she loved her daughter more than life itself, but this was costing her Lucky, and her couple. Not once did he talked about marriage again, never kissed her, rarely held her. He was blaming her for Hope's death, and he would never let her forget it, making her feel bad about wanting to move on. He was stuck in a dark place, and he was acting like she wasn't hurting. She had Manny to worry about!
"-The last time you walked out on me, something terrible happened. I suggest you don't do it again Lucky said, calmly, when he walked in the room.
He wanted Elizabeth to forget about her, she would. She went to Jake's and started drinking. Her glass was not over and the bartender would give her another one. Liz heard him call her back, she heard him say he didn't mean it and he was sorry, but the truth was, he did mean it, and he was right. About everything. Liz didn't want to think about Hope, because she knew she was dead because of her. Elizabeth wanted to show him no one controlled her, so she got on that horse. When the horse heard a big truck pass by he panicked and she fell. She will never forgive herself for that.
*end flashback*
Elizabeth saw Lucky leave the graveyard and she followed him. She didn't know where he was living, and she had to talk to him. Get it straightened out, so at least they could be friends. She nearly choked when she saw he was still living over Jason's garage. She parked her car and waited 5 minutes before going up. She found herself in front of the apartment A and she wondered if her murals would still be there. Well, she wouldn't know unless she knocked now would she?
Lucky opened the door, one hand still on the buckle of his belt, shirtless. He froze when he saw Elizabeth standing there in front of him. He was ready for anyone but her. He quickly buckled his pants and smiled shyly at her.
"-Hi Elizabeth, sorry about that, I was on my way in the shower.
Elizabeth looked at the "mess" which meant a plate, a glass and silverware in the sink, and his bed undone. And the smell, he smelled incredible, as always. She couldn't concentrate, him so close to her, nearly feeling the heat of his bare chest. He saw she was looking at it, and went over to the bed, taking his tee-shirt and putting both his arms in.
"-Like I said, I was on my way in the shower
Elizabeth smiled when he slightly blushed. The truth was, if he put that shirt back on, she would've ripped if off of him. She was fighting with herself for her hands to stay on the side of her body, and not caress his chest. Lucky walked up to her, showing her a chair.
"-I didn't know you still lived here. She said, amazed to see the murals were still there.
Elizabeth's heart stopped when he said he was single. Come on, he was so handsome, someone had to snatch him in the two years they were separated. She looked once again at his chest, amazed to see how developed his muscles were now. He was probably working out with Taggert now. Her legs were refusing to bend so she could sit down, she was just standing in front of him, so close to her, just at arm's length. She just had to reach to touch him, feel his baby smooth skin. She saw him swallow hard, as he saw where her eyes were roaming. He stepped closer to her, his brain shouting to get away, every other sense in his body telling him he wasn't close enough yet.
"-Still haven't told me what I can help you with, Elizabeth. He whispered, his mouth close to hers."
Elizabeth's brain shut down, as his husky voice asked her what he could do to help. Her mind was repeating "Make love to me" over and over again, her heart about to explode in thousand pieces. She stepped forward, getting the distance between them dangerously reduced. She put her hands on his stomach, getting them to move upwards, on his chest, shoulders, and to the back of his neck. She lowered his head, before putting his lips on hers. She felt him throw the shirt on the bed, before his arms locked around her tiny waist. His lips parted a little, and she knew what he wanted. His mouth was tasting so good, his kisses were inflaming her whole body, threatening to make her go up in smoke. His chest was on her breasts, and she could feel how much it changed since the last time they made love, and she pressed herself more against him.
Lucky felt himself being aroused by her kissed, and he had to stop it now, before it got too far. But he just couldn't bring himself to pulled away, instead he moved closer to her, getting their bodies so close they had the impression they would melt into one.

-That is just cruel. I loved her and yoou know it

-I knew it was just a matter of time beffore you threw that in my face.

-Well, I won't stay long, don't get dresssed for me, you'll have to take it off as soon as I leave anyway.
-If you're sure
-Of course. And besides, there isn't annything I haven't seen before anyway"
