"So you're back," Helena hissed as soon as Lucky entered her hospital room. "I tried to call the house last night and the butler said that you never made it!"

"So you were checking up on me?" Lucky snapped back. In truth, he had this urge to squeeze her and kiss her cheek because of the beautiful gift she had given him. True, she tried to kill that gift, but she was still responsible for it. That moment passed quickly, though, as he remembered everything he went through for that gift.

"Of course I was!" Helena answered unrepentfully. "You just lost your daughter. I wanted to know how you were holding up. I tried again this morning when the doctor wanted to know the name of the baby for the records. Since you still were not there, I took it upon myself to name her."

"What did you name her?" Lucky asked in a whisper, pretending to be hurt that she didn't wait for him to name the baby. He didn't care what Helena named her, since he had already chose her legal name. His eyes clouded as he thought about how he felt when he believed his daughter dead and replied "I needed to be alone last night, Helena. I didn't want to go back to the house and see the nursery and everything else waiting for her when she wouldn't be there."

"I'm sorry, Lucky, how unthoughtful of me," Helena said as she reached for his hand, oblivious to Lucky's revulsion at touching her. "I named her Korina, which was Mikkos' mother's name. I didn't think you would mind to have your daughter named after your great-grandmother."

"Korina," Lucky said, trying the name. He actually liked the name she chose, too bad Larissa would never bear it. "It's a beautiful name," he said, his eyes clouding again. "How are you holding up?"

"I have seen better days," Helena answered with a sigh.

"Are you in pain?" Lucky asked, pretending to care about her condition.

"No, these incompetents gave me something for the pain. I am just really tired to be here. I wish I could go home, with my husband. I wish my baby was alive so that I could hold her."

Lucky looked away at that statement, which Helena interpreted as him hurting at the mention of the dead baby, but, in truth, Lucky turned away so that she wouldn't see murder in his eyes. Why didn't he just strangle her right now? All of his problems would be taken care of and his daughter would be safe.

His daughter. She was the only reason he did not eliminate his wife right away. The doctors would conduct an autopsy and they would see foul play. He didn't want an investigation opened and risk going to prison, leaving Larissa at Faison's mercy to avenge Helena. "I wish I could hold her, too," Lucky replied, purposely not answering her comment about coming home to him. He couldn't care less. As soon as Helena was out of the hospital, he would serve her with divorce papers so fast that her head would spin. He knew, though, that he wouldn't even have time to divorce her, for she would be dead long before they would even make it to court.

"I know you do. I am glad that you are not mad at me for naming her without your consent."

"I wasn't there, Helena, and they needed a name. I'm not mad," Lucky assured gently. "When is the service?"

"I waited for you for that part. The man will be back later, I will tell him what you want done." Helena assured

"Why can't I be here?" Lucky countered. "I wasn't here to see my baby die, I want to be here to see her put to rest properly.

"I did not say you wouldn't be here, Lucky. All I asked was what you wanted done in case you were not here."

"I'm sorry, Helena," Lucky said. "All of this has been a little too much for me to bear." He added, feeling fake tears run down his cheek. "My baby died."

"I know, Lucky, I'm sorry. I feel as if this is all my fault. The pain that you are feeling is my fault." Helena said with false concern

"It was too soon, and she couldn't breathe on her own. It wasn't your fault." Lucky assured and looked longingly at the door. He couldn't be here anymore. Somehow, he would reveal himself if he stayed, he just knew it. "I have to get out of here. I can't be here. All I want to do is break everything!"

"Are you going home this time?" Helena asked tauntingly, letting him know that she was watching his every move.

"Where else would I go?" Lucky snapped impatiently. "Am I a prisoner again? Is that why you are always checking up on me?"

"Don't be ridiculous," Helena said with a wave of her hand. "I am only concerned about you. Korina's death has been hard on you."

"Why do I have the impression that I am the only one in grieving?" Lucky snapped before he walked out, leaving Helena smiling.

Helena had never dreamed the baby's death would be so hard on him. She still had men searching everywhere for the baby. After talking to Roslyi, she knew that the baby wasn't in Luke's nor Stefan's hands, and she now had someone following Lucky to make sure that he wasn't the one playing games with her. If he wasn't the one with the baby, Helena would let it be, knowing that the girl would be forever lost. Then, she would talk to Lucky about having another child to ease the pain they were both feeling. She would just have to make sure the baby would be a boy by having a specialist alter the in-vitro process.

"As soon as I am sure that you have given me the heir to the Cassadine Empire, you will join your daughter" Helena said at the closed door. "You will see, my prince, that I always win."

"My prince?" Ari asked himself as he listened to Helena's tirade outside her door. "What is that all about?"

"Well, if it isn't Heir Krieg," Luke said as he turned his head slightly around. "How is it that I knew you would show up sooner or later?"

"Maybe because we are kindred spirits and you know me so well?" Faison sneered. "But all and all, I have you where I want you. Start walking, Spencer, if you don't want to traumatize these precious angels with a gun shot."

"Where's my granddaughter?" Luke growled but did as he was told.

"I wasn't aware that your daughter was in conceivable age, Spencer," Faison taunted. "I thought she was still just a child."

"You know I ain't talking about Lulu!" Luke snapped. "Where's Lucky's kid?"

"She died," Faison replied dryly. "What a pity. Such a beautiful little girl."

Luke's mind was working fast. He looked at the hospital's records. There wasn't any mention of a death in the neo-natal unit. "Come on, Faison, give me some credit here. Do you really think that I would've put myself in the wolf's den if I didn't know the baby isn't dead?"

"You always were stupid and foolish," Faison answered dully. "Enough of that nonsense. This is where your life ends, Spencer. Helena will be please to know that I eliminated her biggest threat."

"You flatter me, Faison. I think Helena would be mad at you if she knew that you admitted I made her nervous. She always acted as if I was just another one of her boy toys. But get on with it, will you? So that Stefan and Roy have a reason to find you, rip you apart and feed you to the vultures." Luke said, acting as if he was bored. His mind was going fast, though, as he tried to find a way out of this mess unharmed, or at the very least, alive."

"You are deluding yourself if you think that Roy will do anything to avenge your death, foolish man," Faison said as he raised the gun to Luke's head. "You see, he has been with us all along. He is the one who slowed you down and made sure we always stayed one step ahead of you."

"What are you babbling about?" Luke asked, not wanting his mind to believe the lies Faison was feeding him before he killed him. Luke would not go to his grave thinking that his best friend was working for the enemy, risking Lucky's life in the process.

"Don't you think it's weird that you, of all people, were never able to find us BEFORE we left wherever we were?" Faison taunted. "I bet you thought it was Helena's weakest son who did the betraying. Well, think again. Your precious Roy, your partner in crime is the one who has the ties to us. I bet you never asked him about his family, did you? You should have, for he is Helena's oldest son."

"You are delusional!" Luke replied quickly. "Not that it surprises me, but Stavros was Helena's oldest son."

"Think again. Stavros was Mikkos' oldest son. Roy was born from Helena's first marriage, and she has sent him to you to destroy you." Faison said. "Enough playing. Do you have any messages for Lucky before I send you to hell?"

"Like I trust you to give him the right message!" Luke sneered before he tried to push Faison's shoulder to make him lose his balance just as gun went off.
