Lucky was walking slowly, like he didn’t have a care in the world, but he did. Oh boy, he did. Helena was having him under surveillance. How was he supposed to be able to care for his daughter if Helena was watching his comings and goings? If he wasn’t where he was supposed to be when he was supposed to be, she would become suspicious. He couldn’t ask Andreas to always take care of Larissa until Helena was dead, that wouldn’t be fair to his new friend.

"Think, Spencer, think! There has to be a way!" Lucky thought aloud as he walked down the hospital corridor on his way out.

"Lucky!" Ari said, running to get to his friend. "I’ve been looking everywhere for you!"

"What’s wrong? Is it Larissa?" Lucky asked, suddenly alarmed. Why would Ari run to find him?

"No, no, I just talked to Andreas, the girl is fine," Ari said, feeling bad for scaring his friend. "She was sleeping when I talked to him."

Lucky couldn’t help but punch his friend on the right shoulder. "Don’t ever scare me like that again, man!"

"I’m sorry!" Ari exclaimed sheepishly. "I didn’t mean to scare you! I need to talk to you, though. We need to check something out."

"Like what?"

"Like something Helena said. It’s been bugging me since you left her room. She was talking to herself, and she said ,you will see, my prince, that I always win’. She was talking about you, Lucky."

"You’re mistaking. Nikolas is the prince, not I." Lucky said, puzzled.

"But Nikolas doesn’t have a daughter, does he? She threatened your life, because she said ‘and then you will join your daughter. You will see, my prince, that I always win’. She thinks Larissa is dead!"

"But why would she want to kill me? What is this winning she talked about?" Lucky asked, looking in his best friend’s eyes. "Surely you know, you work for her."

"I wish I did, but when she is in a room with Faison, I am not allowed in." Ari said sadly. "What do you know about the Cassadine Heir and legacy?"

"All I know is that the oldest son of the oldest son inherits power and money. Nikolas is the oldest son of Mikkos’ oldest son."

"Are you sure? Because I have a sick feeling in my stomach. Helena talked like you were the prince. Is there any way that Stefan could be the real prince?"

"And that any male child I carry could have the key to the Cassadine Legacy? Yes, it could." Lucky said, remembering the conversation they had on why Helena had no need for a daughter, only a son.

"About time you got here!" Luke snapped as he saw Faison fall over, one hand over his chest where the bullet came out. Looking up, he didn’t see Roy, as he thought he would but he saw Stefan, instead. "You know how to use a gun?" Luke asked sarcastically. "I didn’t know you knew how to use it against men, I thought you only shot defenseless females."

"Why did I ever rescue you?" Stefan asked as he moved to see if Faison was really dead. "Ok, now what?"

"Now we hide the body and we flaunt Faison’s death in front of Helena. That ought to shake her up a little." Luke said as he looked around. "We need a stretcher, though, and a white bed sheet."

"Why?" Stefan asked, confused.

"Do you really think we can just walk out of here with a body on our shoulders? We will need to dress as orderlies, too. It will look less suspicious if we have him on a stretcher, covered up to his neck." Luke said sarcastically. Was Stefan really so dumb, or just pretending? Luke wondered.

"Of course," Stefan said, kicking himself for his lack of judgment. Finding Luke defenseless at Faison’s mercy had shaken him up a little bit. "Did you find Lucky or his daughter?"

"No, I haven’t. I saw Helena, though, so I know he’s around here somewhere. I really don’t know where the baby is, though."

"We need to find them both before we do any kind of moves against Helena. I want to make sure they are both safe from her wrath." Stefan said as he started to dress himself as an orderly.

"Well, duh," Luke said, shaking his head. "Do you really think I would’ve gone to Helena without knowing where my son is?"

"My son," Stefan reminded. "I think the sooner you get this into your head, the better we will all be."

"Don’t push me, Cassadine. There is still a gun on the floor, somewhere, and now you know how easily I can dispose of a body." Luke said coldly.

Stefan looked at Luke with a smile on his face. "You would never hurt me." He said with confidence. "You still are not sure about the extent of Lucky’s feelings for me, and you would rather die than to hurt the boy."

"He doesn’t have to know who did the deed, does he?" Luke asked seriously and Stefan carefully dropped the subject.

Luke went out to get the stretcher, and, for the first time, they worked together to make sure they could get Faison’s body down and out of the building without being caught. They didn’t talk about where Lucky was, or what happened to the baby to make sure not to get into another fight.

"By the way, where did you put your brother?" Luke asked casually.

"He’s at the hotel, waiting for a word from either of us," Stefan answered automatically without realizing that he had just been tricked into admitting he was related to Roy.

"Roslyi, you came!" Helena said, extending her hand to her first born for him to embrace.

"Hello, mother. You look well," Roy said, holding her hands in his.

"I sure don’t feel well. If you are here, does that mean--"

"Yes, mother. I tried to slow them down, but they are both here, looking for Lucky."

"Here? In this hospital?" Helena asked, trying to hide the panic in her voice.

"I know Stefan was coming here to look for Luke. Spencer took off the other night without waiting for us. We aren’t sure where he is, exactly."

"I’m sure he isn’t here, or I would already be dead," Helena said confidently.

"I don’t think he would risk killing you before he knew for sure where Lucky is," Roy answered honestly. "Where is my little sister?"

"She’s gone," Helena said coldly. "Someone walked in and snatched her from her crib. The police are still out there looking, but they don’t have much faith in finding her."

"Didn’t you plan on killing her?" Roy asked.

"Faison didn’t get the chance. I swear he is getting lazier by the day," Helena sighed. "Good help is hard to find."

"I’m here, now, mother," Roy said with a smile. "I’ll do whatever it is you need me to."

"Fine. Then I need you to keep an eye on Lucky until I can get pregnant again."
