''So ungrateful. I just wanted you to meet your son, that's all'' Helena said with a smile. Jerry turned around and put himself in front of his mother, to protect her.
''Leave my mother alone!'' The boy said angrily and Alexis quickly hid him behind her
''I know damn well that you won't let him leave now that he's here,'' Alexis answered and V made a shield for the boy with her own body. ''That wasn't necessary Helena, I wasn't going anywhere. I made a deal with you, you didn't have to bring Jerry into this!''
''Well, I see that my good deeds aren't appreciated. I guess it'll be a lesson to me next the time I want to be kind,'' Helena said and sighed outrageously
''This is what happens when you don't know HOW to be kind,'' V answered, still hiding the boy behind both of them.
''You better be quiet'' Helena hissed at V. ''I've killed people for a lot less''
Alexis watched Helena leave and finally allowed herself to drop to her knees to take her son close to her heart, in the most powerful and love filled embrace Jerry had ever received.

''Calm down, we'll find him,'' Sonny said in a confident voice although he was anything but confident.
''Calm down? How the hell do you expect me to calm down when my son is missing?'' Jax nearly yelled while passing a nervous hand through his hair. ''This is all your fault. You knew Helena was on the loose, you should've kept your eyes on him!''
Jax was taking his fury out on Sonny, but he was more mad at himself. He should've known that Helena would show him that his threats weren't scaring her. And the best way to show it was to take away what he loved the most in this world. He shouldn't have gone to see her. Now who knew where Jerry was and what kind of hell he was going through.
''Jax, I have everyone in this town looking for him. They will find Jerry, alive, I promise you'' Sonny said, slowly passing a hand on his friend's shoulder.
''Jax?'' Toby asked the tall man in front of him. ''This isn't my dad's fault. It's mine. We were bored by the movie and decided to come here to play some video games but we told my dad we were going to the bathroom. I should've gone with him instead of waiting for him here''
Jax looked down at his son's best friend and read the guilt, hurt, and fear on the boy's face. Jax slowly kneeled in front of him and took the boy in a small hug. ''It's not your fault Toby. You shouldn't have to worry about coming out to play video games or going to the bathroom alone. This isn't your fault,'' he repeated and the boy slowly nodded.
''Let's go home, we'll be more comfortable there to talk about what we're going to do next'' Carly proposed and led both her sons by the shoulders, wanting to cry from the thoughts of pure relief that were going through her mind every time she looked at Michael and Toby. She was feeling guilty at being so happy that it wasn't one of her boys that was missing. Still remembering how she felt when Tony kidnapped Michael, she knew it must be awful for Jax. She was a mother first and foremost and she was relieved to have both of her children with her at a time like this.
Jax followed them in his car, still cursing himself for visiting Helena. Where was Jerry? Was he hurt? Was he crying, calling for his father to come and get him? He angrily wiped the tears from his eyes, parked in front of Harbor View Towers, and got out of the car. There was nothing he wouldn't give, nothing he wouldn't do, to have his son there when he got out of the elevator and walked into Sonny's penthouse. But he didn't have that chance. ''No news yet?'' He asked, although he already knew the answer.
''Jax, I told you, we'll find him, but you need to relax. I called Stefan Cassadine, to ask him to come and be of some assistance. Nikolas and Emily will be coming, too''
''Thanks,'' Jax said and looked around. ''Toby, come here for a second,'' Jax said and the boy slowly walked to his best friend's father. ''How long was Jerry in the bathroom when you realized he wasn't coming back?'' Jax knew the boy had already answered those questions, but he needed something to do, something to think about other than knowing that his son was in danger and what Helena could be doing to him.
''Not more than 5 minutes,'' Toby answered for the 100th and some time. ''I thought it was weird so I went to see and he was gone, so I yelled and ran to my father''
Jax sighed and couldn't help but get up and punch the wall near the door that was a couple of feet from Toby. Carly walked to her friend and put a hand on his shoulder. ''Jax,'' she started softly ''I know that you are hurting, I know you are scared, and helpless, but this isn't helping any, and it's upsetting Toby. I don't want to be the bad guy here because I know you are hurting, but Toby is too. So please, can you refrain from hitting anything, or at least, do it outside the penthouse?''
Jax looked at Carly, then at Toby. ''I'm sorry Tobias, I wasn't thinking,'' he said in a small voice and Toby shrugged. ''It's ok Jax'' the boy answered truthfully.
***************
''You're so big'' Alexis told her son when she finally let him go long enough to look at him. Her hands were caressing and feeling every inch of his face, his shoulders, his arms, his head. She wanted to make up for lost times. ''Did you know that I never had a chance to hold you when you were a baby?''
Jeremiah shook his head, his body shaking from head to toe. He was in front of his mother. His dead mother. The mother who had probably spent the last 7 years in this little cell and he grew nervous. He didn't know her, what if she had already gone crazy? What if she and V decided they wanted to eat him?
''Jerry, look at me'' Alexis said softly, seeing, sensing the nervousness in her son. ''I won't hurt you. V and I won't hurt you''
''Oh mum'' Jerry answered and jumped in her arms again. ''We thought you were dead. Dad still is sad because of your death, he tries to hide it but I know it, today he was watching your first anniversary video'' Jerry confessed, unaware that his mother never knew Jax's real feelings for her.
''Come here, '' She said, taking her son over to her bed and sitting him next to her ''tell me about you, I wanna know everything, everything I missed, everything that's been going on in your life, how's your uncle Jerry?'' How's your father? She asked herself but didn't want to sound too eager.
''Well,'' Jerry said, scratching his head ''I'm in second grade, Mrs. Kinble says I'm the class' clown, and while dad says to stop, uncle Jerry rewards me.'' The boy grinned. ''Did you know that dad and Sonny are best friends?'' Jerry asked and laughed when he saw both women's astonished face. ''It's true. Sonny and Carly's son Toby is my best friend and dad and Sonny became friends when they saw they couldn't stop us from liking each other and wanting to be each other's best friend''
''How is your dad?'' V asked finally, knowing Alexis was too stunned to even think about asking and the boy turned his attention to the red headed woman.
''He misses you, too. How come you are here? We got a card the other day from you and Simon, saying you were off God knows where to save God knows what''
''Simon was working for Helena, Jerry'' V admitted to the boy. ''His job was to lure me away from your mom and dad so she could stop me from learning the truth about who am I''
''Who are you?'' The boy asked, puzzled.
''I'm Bobbie Spencer's daughter. There was a mistake, and her daughter isn't Carly, I am''
Jerry looked at V for a long moment before looking down. ''Wow'' He said quietly. ''That means you have Luke Spencer as an uncle? That's so cool. Did you know he calls my dad Lurch?'' Jerry asked and he heard both women burst out with loud laughter. ''It's true. One time dad and I went into Kelly's and he said ‘Well, look who's here! Lurch, haven't seen you in a while' and dad just answered ‘How you doing Luke?' I was so surprised dad that didn't reply with something mean. My coat stayed in the air for like a minute''
Alexis and V were laughing so hard that they were wiping tears from their eyes. ''God, I miss Luke'' Alexis admitted when she was able to catch her breath and her son looked at her questioningly.
''And you don't miss dad?'' Jerry asked seriously, his little face falling at the realization that his mother might not love his father anymore.
''Come here'' Alexis said and she took her son on her lap, before she held him close again. ''I still love your father, dearly'' she said truthfully. ''He was my whole life, he still is. We had something special, him and I, and even though we can't be together anymore, a part of him will always be in my heart.'' Jerry reached and wiped a tear from his mother's cheek, unaware that she was talking about his biological father, Ned. The problem was, she loved Jax, too, she still loved him. And her son didn't need to know the truth about his parentage.
''Do you think we will ever be able to break out of here?'' Jerry asked both women as his mother was slowly rocking him
''We've been trying to figure out a way to do it,'' V answered ''but no luck so far, maybe you'll be able to help us now that you are here''
''Maybe I'm small enough to go through the bars of the cell.'' Jerry said excitedly
''And maybe you'll get stuck and caught!'' answered Alexis. ''No way, I'm not using you to get us out. It's too dangerous''
''Time's up Jerry'' The guard said as he unlocked the door.
''Time's up for what?'' Asked Alexis as she got up and hid the boy behind her back. ''You aren't taking him away from this cell to put him somewhere else, you'll have to kill me first''
''That can be arranged my dear Natasha'' they heard Helena's voice behind the guard. ''Now, let the boy go before I decide to take you up on your offer''
***************
''Still no news of either Jeremiah nor my mother?'' asked Stefan as he walked into Sonny's penthouse. He looked around, clearly not liking his surroundings, and Sonny was stopped by Carly before he could make a comment.
''Thank you for coming Stefan'' Jax said as he shook his brother-in-law's hand. ''No, the police can't find Helena and they still have no lead on Jerry whatsoever. It's as if the boy disappeared into the thin air!''
They heard a stomping sound and saw Natasha run in and go straight for her uncle Jax's arms. Nikolas and Emily walked in soon after, hand in hand, before Emily went to give a kiss to Jax, only to be pushed away by her jealous daughter. ''No kiss,'' the little girl whined.
''Any news?'' Emily asked as she rubbed Jax' back slowly and he shook his head.
''No, nothing yet'' He answered and put the little girl down so Toby and Michael could take her upstairs.
''How are you holding up?'' Emily asked again, not bothering a look at Carly.
''How would you be?'' Jax asked in a soft, bitter voice. ''I'm sorry Emily. I'm not holding up, I'm a mess. I want my son back, I want that witch dead, I wish Alexis was here, too!'' He said bitterly. ''Why is she keeping doing this to me? What did I ever do to her?''
Johnny's voice erupted ''We spotted Helena's car outside a manor in upstate New York!''
